Shiseido The Netherlands is based at Schiphol Airport and is part of the Benelux affiliate. The local marketing- and salesteams drives the businesses and implement marketingplans for brand like, Shiseido, Nars, Narciso Rodriguez and Zadig&Voltaire on country level.  

 

MISSION:  

As an operational product manager Fragrance Brands you will play a crucial role aligning the brand’s marketing plans with the company’s strategic objectives, positioning, and operational goals. You will propose, develop, and implement marketing strategies to meet these objectives, collaborating closely with the brand team and adhering to Global/EMEA guidelines. Your initiatives will focus on tailoring marketing activations to specific needs of the market.

Reports to the Marketing Director   
Job Location: Schiphol Airport (min. 3 days in the office)  
Contract type: Full time & Fixed-term  

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Be the local Shiseido ambassador and become the key contact for the brand. 
  • Implement the global Shiseido vision/ strategy in the Dutch market and align all Shiseido related product launches to business objectives.  
  • Develop launch strategy plan by retailer together with the commercial teams to maximize every business opportunity.  
  • Oversee novelties, relaunches, and discontinuations, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and market demands.
  • Lead the planning and execution of market launches, including forecasting novelties.
  • Work with the Marketing Director on media strategies.
  • Manage and follow up on AP budgets. 

  

PROFILE: 

This position is ideal for a proactive individual with an understanding of the beauty market, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will have the opportunity to drive brand growth through strategic marketing initiatives and collaborative efforts.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master degree (preferable marketing, economics or similar degree).  
  • Relevant experience in marketing (3 – 5 years), preferably within beauty or FMCG.
  • Teamplayer, create and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to multitask, work at pace and with ambiguity. High degree of attention to detail and organisation.  
  • Ability to analyse data strongly requested.  
  • Advanced knowledge of the Office package.  
  • Excellent written and spoken communication in Dutch and English, French is a pre.
