Responsibilities
• Formulate medium to long-term vision / strategy and assist in the annual business management plan for the entire Shiseido Group
• Plan, drive and execute company-wide global projects that are key to Group’s management strategy
• Monitor the strategic execution status of brand business and strategic projects to achieve the consolidated sales and profitability goals
• Develop your own strategic thought leadership and act as the brain of COO and Executive Officers, influencing them by making recommendations
What we expect from you
• A bias for action and can work independently while collaborating with multiple functions, with high project management skills
• A constant need to change the status quo and always strive to improve existing processes; with an aim towards accelerating company transformation
• High level of self-drive (does not require constant monitoring) and bring your own style of thought-leadership and can work with and influence multiple high-level stakeholders such as CXOs and Brand leaders
• You thrive in a fast-paced, multiple project environment and can quickly move between high-level strategic discussions to detailed analyses with ease
• Ability to effectively communicate with global leaders and team members, business level fluency in English is preferable (enough to put forward your point assertively and effectively). Additional language fluency in Japanese, Chinese, French are a plus
• Preferable but not mandatory to have experience in working in brand management at a middle-management level. Should be able to demonstrate a history of driving change, strategic thinking, independent critical analysis, and a passion for beauty industry
