Under the new Action Plan 2025-2026, the plan achievement and enhacement of global brand strategy, governance and capability is the top priority agenda.
In order to deliever our commitment, Brand Finance group is required to strengthen its role to proactively drive the business for global brands in collaboration with newly setup Global Brand Strategy Department.
Strategic Finance Department's mission is To become the most integral part of the management team to support the value creation by identifying risk and opportunities, and providing critical information and analysis, We will act as both a strategist and a catalyst, becoming the best business partne.
Under SFD, Brand Finance Group is the key partner for SFD VP, CFO, CMIO and Brand EOs to drive and facilitate Brand Financial management and the company’s value creation.

· Brands’ Business Management Analysis: Review Brand financials on a regular basis in detailed level region, market, ledgers to understand business context and brand context with regional business context with VP/GM and identify key topics to reconnect and manage with BH / RHQ from Brand perspective in line with strategy.
· Brands Business Management Standardization Efforts: Identify opportunities and implement Standardized reporting that synergizes Brand and Corporate perspectives, assist VP/GM in developing common ROI, Brand and Marketing/ reporting formats, analysis, and processes for effective and efficient brand management.
· Serve as an active partner for Brand holders and Regions with the VP/GM, through identifying opportunities and challenges from a brand perspective regardless of financial/ business management, but also internal processes and ways of working that can improve and advise on WOW.
· Bridge Corporate Finance perspective and Brand Holder perspective to formulate consensus on annual and mid-term priorities and key global initiatives to monitor.



●Key Responsibilities:
· Establish and operate global marketing framework to elevate corporate-wide capabilities to guide global brand portfolio strategy planning and execution with understanding of current practices and derive best practices from it.
· Responsible for defining framework and monitor global brand portfolio performance, focusing on key brands and key markets, collaborating with both global Brand Holders and Global Brand Strategy Dept. (GBSD).
· Identify, validate, and propose both short-term and mid-term opportunities to improve global portfolio performance.
· Deeply understand key drivers of each brand / market business and support CFO/CMIO and top managements’ decision making on the portfolio and/or the specific brand matters.
· Enhance and implement measures to continuously improve financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems in conjunction to Brand Business management.
· Collaborate with local / Regional Finance or/and brand teams on matrix reporting and review process and formats as well as BHs and EO,VP and preparation of material (guide counterparts) and proactive piloting and improvement of process
· Support VP/GM to evaluate potential growth opportunities (e.g., new brands, M&A) as well as divest opportunities.
· Work with VP/GM on needed Brand/ Activity specific business/ finance analysis as needed



●About the Role:
1) Wide Scope and responsibility in a elite small group team working with Key toplevel Executives in Head Quarters and regions as well as Brand heads -  
2) Exposure in both coporate Finance and Corporate strategy 3) Lead and initiate corporate-level strategy development and management
· Regular exposure and collaboration with Group CFO/CMIO and Global Brand EOs/Presidents           



●Requirements:
· Knowledge of generally accepted accounting policies
· At least 8 years’ commercial financial accounting experience in retail industry
· Minimum of 8 years in positions within Finance, preferably for Brand, Cosmetics, or retail companies
· Experience in management reporting, budgeting process and controls
· Work experience in multinational Brand, Matrix organization and close working experience with brands, commercial teams.
· Commercial / Regional / Market P&L experience and Global Brand Experience.
· Understanding operating brands/ businesses in market level (P&L) /Marketing, retail (stores), frontline staff, forecasts
· Knowledge of key financials, drivers of P&L, external and internal factors running and maintaining a brand
· Ability to manage strategic discussion and communication with senior managements.
· Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
· Curiosity, Neutrality and critical thinking, proactive nature.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills both in Japanese and English

●Preferred Qualification:
JCPA/AICPA/MBA or other equivalent certificate is a plus
Experience setting up and/or leading FP&A process at a global scale
Experience with SAP
Experience with BI tools
