Roles & Responsibilities(業務内容)


■Key objectives of the role
This role will get exposure to a variety of roles within SIDEKICK BH, allowing the person to develop on all-round perspective as a Brandholder.
This position manages the Go-To-Market for the brand and also gives exposure to product and POSM development - crucial abilities as Brandholder.


Main areas of responsibility
1) Product Development of Sunscreen: Lead the product development of sunscreen 3rd launch under Product Development Manager 
 - Tasks include Fix formula, Make and get approval of design proposal, Conduct a price acceptability study, Design displays for product package, outer box and 2nd outer box


2) Go-To-Market executional excellence: 
 - Shipping schedule management [FG & POSM]: Lead the GTM schedule to launch 2nd and 3rd launch products on time
 - Sales/Production plan management [FG & POSM]: Manage the monthly sell-in/out plan, adjust the production plan based on the revised sales plan


3) POSM Development: Oversee and lead the POSM development for all markets
 - Tasks include finalize the specifications, quantity and estimated costs for FY2023 and FY2024, make proposals at the Product Development Feasibility Meeting, design displays for the promotional samples of 2nd and 3rd launch products with Creative Dep. and identify feasibility of the POSM production in SZC


4) Stretch Objective: Japan market development
 - Track the existing market sales progress and develop business plan with The Ginza team, incl. social buyers scheme
 - Prepare future market development plan for Japan





■Required Qualifications
 - Knowledge and experience of working on internal systems on commercial and logistics flow within Shiseido Group or Shiseido Japan (SJ) for GTM (or willingness to learn very quickly)
 - Ability to liaise and deal independently with multiple departments in HQ, SJ and Shiseido China to get jobs done
 - A good sense of design and artwork, ability to work with Shiseido Creative Company to develop POSM, product artworks etc.
 - Japanese business fluency (both verbal and written); English and Mandarin is a plus 
 - Demonstrated "Independent Contributor" delivery + a team player who can adjust and work in an already well-integrated team

■Desired Qualifications
 - Multiple years of Product Development experience within Shiseido Group in a brandholder team
 - Experience in POSM, artwork development is plus
