Job Summary:

This position leads the Shiseido Global Communications team developing, budgeting, implementing, ideating, and executing all global influencer programs and social strategy, reporting to the VP of  Marketing and Consumer Experience Development department.

With a focus on influencer partnerships and programing, social content strategy and creation, makeup artist strategy, and digital marketing for brand Shiseido Tokyo Ginza, this role works in alignment with Shiseido Brand Marketing Teams across all categories and all regional Communication Teams to maintain global consistencies. The position manages a team to execute global campaigns across PR, ePR, influencers, social media  and content development. Communicating daily with global markets and all regional leads to ensure company messages, strategies and objectives result in positive publicity, awareness, and deepened consumer engagement. 

 

 

Qualifications & Competencies: (List required or desired education; competencies; experiences; soft & hard skills)

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in a beauty organization
  • Previous global experience necessary
  • Prior experience with both Social Media and Influencer management
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, interpersonal, and written communications skills
  • Executive presence – ability to lead, mentor, challenge, manage and grow direct reports as well as global communications teams
  • Strong technical skills including Powerpoint and Excel
  • Knowledgeable and up to date on all current beauty trends
  • Must be a team player and creative thinker
