Purpose of the Position

 

The Global Business Process Expert for MTE helps design and maintain the Global business process model for Manufacturing Planning and Execution.  The role is responsible to standardize/harmonize Manufacturing and Execution processes globally across Shiseido and support the GBPL to act as the custodian and design authority for all Manufacturing to Execution processes. Working with the other Global Business Process Experts (GBPEs), the GBPE for MTE defines standards on the best practice manufacturing process flows. This includes aligning business processes at sites with the global business process model. In addition, the GBPE for MTE supports the sites during regional deployments by delivering manufacturing execution process expertise and knowledge, process and application training along with project support.

 

The GBPE will also work across all regions with Regional Process Experts, Leads and users to understand and document current processes, while driving buy-in to adopt best practices which increase end-user satisfaction levels and business productivity using process improvement methodology and tools.

 

The GBPE for MTE will work closely with the MTE-MES GBPL, Business Process Leads and Experts to identify, and design processes that deliver value through the implementation of S4 configuration and functionality as it aligns to the MTE/MES processes within the Focus UPM (Unified Process Model).  The role will require an intimate knowledge of Manufacturing Operations and Processes in the Consumer Goods Sector (prestige brands) such as Production Planning, Execution & Control, Goods Movement, Inventory Management and Batch Management. In addition, a good understanding of integration touchpoints between MTE/MES and other processes such as FTS, ITD, PTP, OTC and RTR is essential. 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

•    Act on behalf of the MTE-MES GBPL to lead standardization and alignment to best practice of business process for each region/country in scope
•    Work with the GBPL to develop business processes for the global solution:
•    Drive global process design and continuously align with the business process experts across all regions
•    Ensure to develop standardized business processes based on best practice
•    Drive the Global process design for S4 HANA & Apriso in MTE area
•    Understand and guide the design of interface between S4 Hana and Apriso MES system
•    Govern the global solution:
•    Manage the business requirements for all template change requests
•    Provide a fit-gap analysis against global solution to prevent region-specific solutions
•    Communicate regularly with the business process experts across regions and GBPL on design updates and proposals
•    Support Change Management activities aimed at deployment of target business processes and technology to related Business Function
•    Other responsibilities:
•    Propose customization to global process where there is business benefit
•    Quantify, document and monitor benefits of process improvements through S4/HANA and Apriso
•    Work with other pillars and GBPEs to ensure interaction of MTE/MES with FTS, OTC, PTP and ITD

 

 

Requirement

 

Competency / Qualification, Education, Experiences etc.

 

  1. Vast experience of business processes and data model implemented at Shiseido (or similar corporate) within Manufacturing site
  2. Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Quality Processes, Standards and Operations
  3. Deep experience in process design, analysis and harmonization
  4. Knowledge of MES operations and MES applications
  5. Experience working within an agile, matrix organized team
  6. Experience working with diverse team of internal and external personnel
  7. Ability to successfully engage and manage senior stakeholders
  8. Knowledge of Apriso – Preferred
  9. Knowledge of S4 Hana – Preferred
  10. Fluency in English is a must
