Roles & Responsibilities(業務内容)
The candidate will take the lead on manager development across the global organization. This includes:
- Designing and implementing a framework for manager development based on our people strategy. This includes defining the role of the manager in Shiseido.
- Designing and implementing initiatives for new manager onboarding/development
- Designing and implementing initatives for ongoing manager development
- Ensuring our people managers have the capabilities and tools to effectively lead their teams
The candidate will work with the group manager to realize a global learning organization. This includes:
- Designing a long-term strategy for the global learning organizaion, aligned with our people strategy
- Implementing initatives to drive the strategy, including but not limited to, global learning governance, global learning portfolio (including content to enhance digital capabilities), global learning operations, global learning culture
Reports to:
- Learning & Talent Development Group Manager
Other key relationships:
- Organization & Culture Development Group members
- HRBPs
- Regional HR members
- Senior business leaders (e.g. function executive officers, etc)
Requirements(必要な能力/経験/資質)
Required capabilities:
- A learning role model - someone who is curious and innovative and constantly looking to develop themselves
- Ability to interact and biuld relationships with all level of employees
- Fluent in oral and written Japanese and English
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Results focusd and ability to take initiative
- Instructional design, including impact evaluation measurement techniques
- Takes a holistic approach to capability building (70:20:10 model)
Education level:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent
Experience level:
- At least 7 years in the area of learning and development. Other experience in the wider field of HR is welcome.
- Managerial experience (either people manager or individual contributor)
- Experience in global organizations and an inclusive mindset for other cultures
- Proven track record of designing impactful learning and development solutions from ideation to implementation in a large, global, matrix environment
