●Organization / Mission:
Under the new Action Plan 2025-2026, enhacement of global brand strategy, governance and capability is the top priority agenda. In order to deliever our committment, Top Managements made decision to newly setup Global Brand Strategy Department from Jan 2025, with three groups incl., Brand Strategy Group, Brand Business Management Group and Corporate Identity Group. 
Global Brand Strategy Department's mission is to maximize Shiseido Group's value creation in effectively building Medium- and Long-Term Brand Strategy as well as corporate Identity in simultaneous way from a global level.
Under Global Brand Strategy Department, Brand Strategy Group is the Key Partner for Brand Holders, Chief Marketing Officer, Executive Officer and VP to drive and facilitate brand strategies as a mission and the company’s value creation.
· Bridging Corporate HQ and well as Brand Holders conversation, the Group is Key counterpart engaging with HQ Corporate Divisions such as Chief Marketing Officer, R&D, Strategic Finance Department, Digital Transformation Office, Sustainability Strategy Acceleration Department
· Serve as key facilitator in all duties related to mid-term and long-term strategy, identify opportunities and challenges from a brand perspective and lead the development and prosecution of mid-term strategies.
· Part as Brand Specific taskforce, deliver with VP Brand specific key initiatives – e.g. Category growth plan, Brand Repositioning
· Lead problem solving of cross-border issues.
· Lead as well as participate alone or along with Group Manager, Brand Business Management Group Related Taskforces and collaboration teams.



Key Responsibilities:
· Key contributor for the long, mid, and short-term global brand strategy and planning, collaborating with global Brand Holders, top Management, cross corporate strategy organizations.
· Identify and evaluate cross corporate brand initiatives from Brand perspective and derive decisions/ improvement opportunities.
· Deep dive fundamental road blockers, operational challenges and propose solutions to enable Brand Holders to create value.
· Initiate and facilitate procedural/ operational changes or new approaches to enable Brand Holder enhancement and efficient Business Management while managing regional stakeholders and drive collaboration and consensus.
· PMO of cross Brands Projects



About the Role:
· Lead and initiate corporate-level strategy development and management
· Regular exposure and collaboration with Group Group Marketing and Innovation Officer and Global Brand EOs/Presidents
· The most diverse and global team in HQ, working with people from various backgrounds



●Requirements (必要な能力/経験/資質):
· Strategic Management: ability to make strategic analysis understanding macro and micro drivers of e.g. market, regions, competitors, segments etc with objective view to identify solutions and winning strategy.
· Brand Experience: Knowledge of key financials, drivers of P&L, external and internal factors running and maintaining a brand
· Organizational Experience: MUST possess international, flexible, and objective mindset, a very good communicator dealing with wider scope of stake holders with different scope and seniority.
· High vitality to propel a company-wide project and communication skills are expected.
· Minimum 10~12 years’ experience of Brand or Business, or Strategic consulting or planning roles.
· Business level English skills
