Roles & Responsibilities(業務内容)

 

The Shiseido Group has established the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) in HQ Tokyo, Japan. 
The DTO’s mission is to transform and accelerate Shiseido on its journey to become a digital business and will oversee the enterprise-wide strategy across beauty tech, consumer engagement, data management, ecommerce and digital marketing. The DTO’s m
ission is to put data in the heart of our marketing and technology development. Shiseido will become “No.1 data driven beauty powerhouse” creating the next generation of Skin Beauty.

 

The Digital Architecture (DA) lead will work across the enterprise to build a global, world class Digital and eCommerce, CRM, Media and Customer Data Architecture that is truly omni-channel, agile, scalable, open, cost efficient, innovative and flexible enough to quickly meet local and global goals. This architecture will encompass EC, CRM, Media connections, physical POS, Customer Care Centers, Fulfillment Centers, analytics and third parties to make it the most effective and efficient. The DA lead will report to the Head of Beauty Technology to also support the integration and management of third-party partners such as virtual makeup try-on tools, skin care diagnostic tools, AR and AI partners.  The DA lead will also partner with Consumer Engagement Department to architect consumer data capture flows from owned EC, Marketing sites as well as POS and owned free standing stores to fuel Shiseido’s consumer profile data hub.  The DA lead will work very closely with the Global Information Technology team to integrate with enterprise programs and platforms.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Built and maintain best in class, robust and scalable reference architecture (Global Commerce Core) on Salesforce Commerce Cloud that powers 85+ websites across the globe and brands
  • Work across regions to select efficient solution integrators to help deliver sites and capabilities regionally
  • Partner and mentor regional Digital IT teams in developing regional layers on top of Global Core along with their solution integrators
  • Create and deliver robust feature roadmap on the evolution of Global Core, developing high impact features like one-page checkout, page designer, integrations to several 3rd party services and several local features like WeChat Pay, AliPay, WMS/OMS by region
  • Develop an architecture where successful features and capabilities can be shared across brands and regions without having to redevelop
  • Change management through well documented releases, demos, feature catalog and Global Commerce Core forum
  • Set up behavioral analytics tools across multiple sites to inform brands and creative teams on user experience challenges and wins
  • Architect a scalable and robust ecosystem for CRM program to deliver several aspects of customer marketing for the organization including customer MDM, marketing automation and analytics/insights
  • Set up a high performing platform operations and data governance team with vendor partners and internal IT.  Create connections with local systems like Line, WeChat, MMS etc.
  • Set up data governance tea that oversees the profiling of brands/country data within the CRM platform including validating and ensuring usage of best data governing practices when onboarding new sources or systems
  • Working closely with legal, compliance and IT security teams within the organization to ensure data privacy and regulations is maintained
  • Work on security audits process with 3rd party vendors like Reltio, Accenture, SFMC to ensure compliance
  • Work closely with China IT team on their local CRM system upgrades and CDP initiatives
