Manager, Cross Border Business & Marketing Strategy

Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop the company’s cross-border Chinese business and marketing strategy with a focus on Asia, and lead the executions
• Work closely with Global Headquarters Stake Holders, China/Japan/other APAC representatives and the Travel Retail teams
• Manage deliverables of marketing teams and overall business achievements, while providing strategic guidelines to them
• Coordinate surveys with the dedicated research team and provide input to the management team and local teams
• Develop relationships with online (e-commerce) and/or off-line retailers that are growing across regions
• Contribute to other corporate-level strategic projects as needed
Requirements
• Minimum 7 to 10+ years’ experience in building business and/or marketing strategies
• Demonstrate a keen understanding for the China market and Chinese consumers
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, including aptitude in creative problem-solving
• Outstanding communication ability and presentation skills in both English and Japanese (native or business level)
• A desire to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and ability to work under pressure
Desired Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, marketing, or a relevant field of study
• Proven experience as business consultant or equivalent
• Work experience as marketing/CRM manager or above in beauty/consumer goods industry
• Chinese writing and verbal skills (native or business level)
