Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and drive the company’s cross-border marketing strategy with a focus on Asia, targeting Chinese domestic consumers and Chinese tourists
  • Work closely with Global Headquarters Stake Holders, the Travel Retail team, and APAC representatives (incl. Japan) to prepare and execute the marketing strategies
  • Manage deliverables of marketing teams and overall business achievements, while providing guidelines to them from the corporate strategy perspective
  • Coordinate surveys with the dedicated research team and provide input to the management team and local teams on Chinese markets and consumer behaviors
  • Develop relationships with online (e-commerce) and/or off-line retailers that are growing across regions to identify new opportunities and provide marketing leadership together
  • Contribute to special projects as needed

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Minimum 3 to 5+ years’ marketing experience in cosmetics/beauty/consumer goods industry and/or Travel Retail or equivalent
  • Demonstrate a keen understanding for Chinese markets and consumers
  • Hands-on skills with a proven track record of working on a deadline
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Manage multiple priorities with many stakeholders
  • Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, changing environment

 

 

Desired Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a technical or relevant field of study
  • Experience with social media, search engine optimization, content platforms and marketing
  • Familiar with industry-leading marketing tools for both online & offline
  • Chinese writing and verbal skills (native or business level)
