Global Business Process Expert (Accounting)

Purpose of the Position
- Act on behalf of GBPL for FI process to drive standardization and alignment of best practices globally
- Supervise standardization activities
- Gather, review, document as-is business processes for all regions in scope
- Map with SAP S4 and other solutions related module best-practice processes, compare as-is and best practice, identify gaps and related business needs (such as local regulation), while recommending improvements and workarounds towards best practice
- Get approvals to exceptions (customizations) to standard processes and best practice from GBPL and BTC, while driving buy-in from end-users to adopt the best practice or minimize customization to the absolute minimum require
- Facilitate change management and lead subject matter experts to increase end-user satisfaction levels and business productivity using process improvement methodology and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive global process design and continuously align with business process experts across all regions
- Ensure development of standardized business processes based on best practice
- Manage business requirements for Solution change requests
- Regularly communicate with business process experts across regions and with senior leadership regarding operational updates and associated financial benefits
- Support change management activities aimed at deployment of target business processes
- Provide a fit-gap analysis against UPM to prevent region-specific processes, with the exception for region-specific processes to meet local legal/regulatory requirements
Requirements
Competency / Qualification, Education, Experiences etc.
- Experience of business processes and data model implemented at Shiseido (or similar corporate) within Business Function scope
- Experience working with the cross functional team with internal or external member.
- Strong knowledge of RTR (FI) Process, Standards and Operations as well as related applications
- Be eager for the best practice / solution to put in place
- Be a good communicator with internal / external stakeholders, managements, other functional member and his/her peers.
- More than 5 years of Finance Business Function (Accounting)
- Facilitation and Presentation skill
- English/Japanese (Business Level Above)
- Experience with best practice business processes and data model related to SAP S4/HANA or ECC - Preferred
