Title:  FP&A Manager for Regional HQ

Overall Mission

  • Assist Global CFO/Department Director in providing business/finance insights
  • Be a Partner with region, key internal functions and support business decision

 

Main areas of responsibility 

Business performance analysis:  Provide expert advice and support to Overseas region by analyze the situation, identify opportunities, quantify impacts and propose action plan to meet business objectives and mitigate risks

Financial planning:  Coordinate region forecast and budget settlement supporting region’s preparation​​​​​​​

Process management:  As a member of Global company, "Support Business Decision" to HQ and regional team(Paris, New York, Singapore, China and Travel retail) from financial perspectives, which includes planning & forecasting, and various financial analyses as below, not limited to:

  • Monthly/quarterly management P&L reporting with variance analysis to budget, prior year and previous estimate
  • Keep track on monthly key performance indicators
  • Brand profitability analysis
  • Marketing & Selling Investment control & monitoring
  • 3 or 6 year strategic plan, annual budget plan and monthly forecast update
  • Financial feasibility analysis (ROI / payback) on promotional activities and other business opportunities /investments
  • Improve financial data for better managerial decision making
  • Take lead in ad-hoc finance projects such as system /tool implementation/process improvement
  • Serve as primary liaison to the region office for financial matters

  • Minimum 10 years experiences of years in accounting or finance experience
  • Knowledge of Japan/US GAAP/IFRS & reporting requirements
  • Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English
  • Outstanding interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills to work cross functionally
  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
  • Leadership ability

 

Other qualification

  • Optional: CPA/MBA
