JD Summary
The SFD(Strategic Finance Department) Finance Member/Manager is expected to bring transformation into Shiseido management to become a true global company.
In order to do so, a SFD Finance Member/Manager needs to act as both a strategist and a catalyst by support the creation of value by identifying risks and opportunities, monitoring business execution, providing critical insights and analysis, considering improvement action plans and driving the changes-management in the Company.
The primary responsibility of this position is to visualize/analyze and control financials/expense of the Shiseido’s Global Headquarter organization across the Functions (that includes R&D, Supply Network, Digital, IT, HR, Finance, Legal, etc). 
Will be also lead several initiatives such as budget processing improvement, zero-based-budgeting, etc by close communication with related parties within the company.

Expense/Resources control of Global Headquarter, that includes following initiatives;
・ Actual monitoring / analysis, forecasting, business planning
・ Support / provide information to drive functions' business
・ Expense/Profit analysis of affiliates,
・ KPI setting, process monitoring, performance evaluation
・ Governance
・ Capital expenditure budget control, ROI assessment
・ Work process improvement, budgeting process improvement
・ Communication with related parties for smooth operation
・ Lead transformation initiatives with collaboration with related parties

Reporting to SFD managements including CFO


Minimum of 7 years of financial work experience, including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews.

Strong analytic skills and Excel data compilation and aggregation skills with speed and correctness. Experience with Financial systems/applications (i.e. SAP) preferred.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to work across multiple levels including executive level.  Fluency in Japanese and English both verbally and in writing.

Problem solving and leadership to proceed cross-functional initiative/ process-improvement/ change-management, together with related Functions as well as with members in the Finance group.
