Roles & Responsibilities(業務内容)
The SFD Finance is expected to bring transformation into Shiseido management to become a true global company. 
In order to do so, a SFD Finance needs to act as both a strategist and a catalyst by support the creation of value by identifying risks and opportunities, monitoring business execution, providing critical insights and analysis, considering improvement action plans and driving the changes-management in the Company.
The primary responsibility of this position is to analyze & control financials of the Shiseido’s Global business.

Responsibilities

Business Partnering for corporate functions, that includes following initiatives;
- Actual monitoring / analysis, Forecasting, Business Planning
- Support / Provide information to drive business
- KPI setting, Process monitoring
- Governance
- Capital Expenditure budget control, ROI assessment
- Work process improvement
- Communication with related parties for smooth operation

Lead transformation initiatives with collaboration with business
Reporting to SFD managements including CFO, as well as to the business managements and CXO


Requirements(必要な能力/経験/資質)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and minimum of seven (7) years of financial work experience, including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews. Masters’ degree in Business Administration, or other advanced degrees or development programs preferred.
Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
Experience with finance discipline including FP&A
Clear thinking /problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function; able to quickly grasp new ideas
Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing
Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: SAP, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros)
Confidence/Assertiveness: possess influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position; for example, work closely with business leaders to achieve business objectives
Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and process improvement within the operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas
Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
Fluency in Japanese and English
Change management skill and experience as leadership competency
