Roles & Responsibilities(業務内容)
Background:
● FOCUS is a Business-Led and Sponsored Transformation program at Shiseido that will unlock business growth, through standardized data,
optimized processes, and a globally connected new way of working. We will deliver best-in-class solutions on a shared global IT platform,
with strong Global IT/PMO Governance processes that will be supported by a global Solution, Business Process Management,
Organization Change Maganegemt (OCM), Application Maintenance Services, and Master Data Management organization.
It is a multi-year program with deployments (go-lives) stagged over 3-5 years with the expectation that business transformation will be ongoing
beyond FOCUS 1.0 and 2.0 deployments.
● The global OCM team contributes to the successful FOCUS deployments by leading global change management activities and supporting
the deployment activities in the regions to be executed as planned, based on the global deployment methodology of the FOCUS program.
● In the post-FOCUS Business-As-Usual (BAU) organization, the global OCM team, as a COE, provides OCM Strategy and governance,
standards and processes, quality assurance, training material maintenance, and support to the regions
FOCUS Global Communication
[FOCUS Deployment ]
FOCUS Global Communication acts as the voice and face of the program. Based on a defined methodology and model to deliver the right messages
at the right time to the right people, taking them on the journey from awareness to understanding to adoption.
It includes:
Stakeholder Management - Identifying the stakeholders who are critical to the program’s success, planning engagement interventions and proactively
tracking their support throughout the program lifecycle.
Communications and Engagement - Creating an impactful listening and engagement strategy and communications approach that helps differentiate
the program from others and generate buy-in across impacted audiences. Then use a blend of techniques to create energy, enthusiasm, and engagement.

The Global Communication team acts as COE and is responsible for:
- Management of both internal and external communications related to FOCUS
- Support of future release CRs communication
Key Responsibilities
[FOCUS Deployment]
The FOCUS Global Communication team member contributes to / partially leads change management and communication alignment with all stakeholders.
● Develop the communication strategy and engagement plan including audience, contents, timelines, channels and measures of success
● Deliver communication in line with the plan to engage and connect with the target audience, maximizing adoption and minimizing resistance to change
(Examples of key deliverables: newsletters/newsflashes, videos, articles, Sharepoint site, digital signage, events, reports and presetations for external
target audience, etc)
- Support regional OCM teams’ change management and communication activities (incl. development of change story, comms plan, engagement of change agents,
cut-over/post-go-live communication, pulse survey, etc)
- Collaborate with / supervise the third-party consultants during preparation and review processes

The FOCUS Global Communication team member contributes as a part of COE FOCUS Communication
● Develop the communication & engagement strategy and plan including audience, contents, timelines, channels, and measures of success
● Management of both internal and external FOCUS communication
● Communication support of future release CRs, working with the Global Release Management team
● Maintain all FOCUS communication materials and templates up to date
● Monitor, measure, and evaluate transformation impact and effectiveness
Requirements(必要な能力・経験・資質)
1. 5 years of work experience in the communication field as a specialist or leader
2. Knowledge of the latest internal communication tactics/tools
3. Familiarity with SAP deployment / technical terms
4. Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills
5. Strong sense of ownership and pride in the performance and its impact on the company’s success
6. Exceptional interpersonal skills, relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills
7. High language proficiency (both Japanese and English, spoken and written form)
8. Experience with change communication related to SAP S/4HANA and other global solutions deployment (Desired)
