Roles & Responsibilities(業務内容)
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
• Lead the development of China/Travel Retail strategies, asset development, and business management.  Make autonomous judgments and solve problems in the assigned field to successfully achieve the goals and KPIs of the assigned tasks.

• Drive effectiveness, efficiency, and innovation in advertising by understanding rapidly changing consumer behavior, the media environment, and new media opportunities. Gather consumer insights and apply that knowledge to the ELIXIR business to strengthen brand performance in China and Travel Retail. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• China and Travel Retail Marketing Strategy Development and Planning: 
Develop marketing strategy and business management plans for China and Travel Retail markets in collaboration with the line manager. This involves analyzing market trends, competitors, and consumer behavior through research data and information to identify brand challenges and prioritize objectives.
• Marketing plan development and asset development for China and Travel Retail market: 
Lead asset development for key initiatives in China and Travel Retail markets. This includes managing pricing, supply, and financial aspects, as well as developing marketing plans that align with brand and regional strategies. This involves creating product concepts, an integrated marketing communications plan, marketing calendar, and pricing strategies for the target audience in China and Travel Retail markets. Collaboration with creative agencies and cross-functional teams is also required for the development of creative assets.
• Product portfolio management for China and Travel Retail market.
• Monitor sales closely, manage forecasts, and control budgets to achieve sales and financial objectives.
• Maintain close communication with cross-functional teams, creative agencies, and local team members to ensure the successful implementation of marketing strategies and target delivery.



Requirements(必要な能力/経験/資質)
・A minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management/marketing (including marketing strategy, marketing plan development, and project management) in the cosmetic or FMCG industry, with premium consumer goods experience being a plus. 
・Experienced in asset development, especially for the digital platform. 
・Global communication skills. Ability to work in a diverse environment with strong cross-functional communication abilities. 
・Thinks strategically, prioritizes effectively, and delivers high-impact results. 
・Requires basic financial understanding of P&L and budget planning and management. 
・Business-level Mandarin and English, native Mandarin being a plus. 
・Basic-level Japanese, fluency being a plus.
