Organization / Mission (組織 / ミッション)
The role of the Global Digital Director is to lead the team towards big ideas, innovative executions, and new social opportunities for social organic content, social activations, and paid campaigns.
This position will be a key driver of creative excellence, helping to move the needle towards more emotional, brand-building creative executions that weave content into the brands digital platforms and social media platforms.
China digital landscape will also be one of the position’s main focus, therefore an experience in this field is needed.
Projects will range from elevating the social media brand platforms and ecommerce site to hands-on design of large-scale TMALL campaigns.
Key responsibilities will include planning and directing photo shoots, evolving our style guides, templates and processes.
The Digital Director will lead and be in charge of developing the Digital Department.


• Brand Builder:
Partners with Global Creative Director to develop and build strong in-store visibility.
Supports in brand management and execution to ensure consistency across channels.


• Strategic Thinker: 
Align concept development with functional and business needs. 
Identify consumer trends, maintain knowledge and execution of industry best practices for social media / ecommerce as well as performing ongoing benchmarking.
Partner with consumer insights to conduct regular social environmental analysis.
Drive and execute compelling storytelling on social media and ecommerce environments.


• Creative Collaborator:
Work closely with Marketing to create and activate social media experiences that have global reach.
Partner with Creative Operations to align on appropriate talent to ensure accurate execution of creative vision.
Partner with Regions to analyze and develop strategies for Influencer and Social Animation to build brand equity, consumer retention, conversion and engagement.


• Skilled Presenter: 
Represents Creative team in a variety of settings: large & small groups, direct reports, managers, top-management, formal presentations. Needs to have an executive presence and inspire people.



Key Responsibilities (業務内容)
• Lead and develop the Digital Department.
• Evolve and elevate brand’s social and digital design presence while supporting and maintaining its already-strong brand DNA.
• Liaising with Global Marketing on the role out and implementation of designs and campaigns.
• Align across departments on objectives of launches that are creatively driven.
• Create, curate and manage social media content, including text, audio, visual and multimedia formats.
• Identify insights & opportunities to elevate brand’s social content.
• Contribute to monthly calendars as support to the social creative team.
• Work hand-in-hand with the Creative Directors to ensure connection between campaigns and social work / efforts. Explore new ways to leverage social to create larger campaign opportunities and extensions.
• Utilize social landscape knowledge combined with brand awareness to develop larger social programs or activations that go beyond individual social posts.
• Lead & develop the overarching idea presentation in collaboration with other team members.
• Concept and design a wide variety of digital assets including digital campaign experience, homepages, landing pages, emails and banners.
• Direct all phases of digital asset creation (photo shoots, production art, animation, etc.) for desktop, mobile, email, online advertising and retail partners. Provide feedback to relevant outside agency partners.
• Stay up to date on the latest design social trends, digital platforms and innovative tools (AI).
• Meet all deadlines under pressure and react to unexpected schedule changes.



Requirements(必要な能力/経験/資質)
• 10+ years related design experience—with a minimum of 3 years working in APAC Market.
• BA degree or equivalent in graphic design, website design or art direction.
• Proven experience working for a busy digital agency, repeatedly coming up with new and fresh ideas for programs and campaigns.
• Impeccable taste, typographic skills and craftsmanship.
• Fluency with motion, animation and video.
• Ability to lead a team and juggle multiple hands-on projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• A great portfolio showing high-end design work for the following: desktop, mobile, email, online advertising, product launches, campaigns, promotions, and other marketing related projects.
• UX/UI experience designing websites or other digital platforms.
