Distribution Center Department Manager

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a driven and experienced Distribution Center Manager to join our company and lead a team of 60+ personnel in our growing warehouse environment. You will play a key role in ensuring on-time delivery for our expanding customer base by overseeing all aspects of our operations, including in-house and 3PL activities (inbound, outbound, storage, returns, distribution, relabeling, facility and maintenance, EHS, indirect procurement, compliances, and Quality Assurance). Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and inventory control, relabeling, and Quality Assurance with adherence to GMP regulations and procedures.
• Implement and continuously improve efficient warehouse processes using data analysis to optimize productivity, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
• Manage the 3PL process, including RFQ, tender, daily operations, and KPIs.  Ensure seamless integration with partner services.
• Develop and implement strategies for effective space utilization and layout optimization.
• Lead and motivate a team of 60+ warehouse personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment through coaching, development, and performance management.
• Oversee facility maintenance and ensure a clean, safe, and functional working environment to adherence to ISO45001/14001, EHS regulations, prioritizing the safety and well-being of employees.
• Track and analyze warehouse and 3PL KPIs (e.g., order fulfillment accuracy, picking rates, shipping times), identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including transportation carriers and suppliers.

• Manage warehouse budget and resources effectively.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations management, preferably with a team of similar size.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing and optimizing warehouse processes.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management principles, including inventory control, order fulfillment, distribution, and 2ndary packaging GMP. 
• Experience with SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and a proven ability to maintain a safe work environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent communication in English.
