【MAIN PURPOSE】
We are looking for a strategic, business-minded Consumer & Market Insights Lead to shape the future of our beauty brands across our corporate beauty portfolio (skincare, makeup and fragrance). This role sits at the corporate level, partnering closely with senior leadership, brand teams, Digital/CRM, and e-Commerce to build a deep understanding of consumers, categories, and market dynamics.
You will be the voice of the consumer, driving data-driven decision making that guide high-impact decisions and support business growth.
【KEY RESPONSIBILITIES】
1. Insights Strategy & Governance
- Develop the corporate-level CMI strategy and annual research roadmap.
- Establish research governance and methodology standards across all brands and categories.
- Manage research partners (e.g., Kantar, Nielsen, Beauté Research) to ensure quality and consistency.
2. Market Projection
- Develop and optimize market projection methodologies for market/channel/category
- Deliver quarterly & annual market, share and category growth projections to senior stakeholders to guide business planning and target setting.
3. Consumer & Market Insights
- Manage the Beaute Research platform and provide quarterly analysis reports that cover sales growth dynamics across markets, channels, brands, categories, and SKUs.
- Oversee the Kantar World Panel and deliver annual analysis reports focusing on market trends and consumer behaviour.
- Collaborate with Kantar to conduct in-depth consumer analyses, or lead the in-house team to design and lead quantitative survey and FGDs to gain a deeper understanding of beauty consumers' needs, motivations, behaviours, and purchase barriers.
- Monitor trends in the beauty category, changes in the retail market, and competitor activities. Publish quarterly CMI trend reports and regularly facilitate sharing for local brand teams and regional headquarters.
- Lead the in-house team to execute Customer Satisfaction and NPS survey and provide monthly, quarterly and annual reports across all brands and channels. Facilitate results-sharing for brand and operation teams to improve customer satisfaction.
- Work with regional headquarters to implement Brand Health Checks and facilitate local results-sharing
4. Leadership & Knowledge Management
- Lead a small insights team, mentor and develop junior team members
- Build a strong insights culture through training, frameworks, dashboards and knowledge hubs.
- Advise brand teams on strategy formulation using integrated consumer, category and competitive insights.
