Assistant Demand and Supply Planning Manager
JOB PURPOSE:
The Assistant Demand and Supply Planning Manager is a seasoned planner who will play a critical role in driving the end-to-end demand and supply planning process for core brands. This is a key person who will give directions and recommendations on demand plan and will strategize on supply planning. Together with the Supply Chain Manager, the Assistant Demand & Supply Planning Manager will drive and implement process improvements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leads and drives the monthly Forecast Pre-alignment and Forecast Meeting with cross-functional Sales and Marketing team

Represents SPH and participates in the Regional Demand Review Meeting

Conducts historical sales analysis and data cleansing to build statistical baseline forecast by SKU, by channel, and by door level

Builds the total demand plan by generating baseline forecast derived by correlating various metrics such as forecast accuracy, inventory, service level, sell-out, etc and by capturing marketing intelligence (MI)

Calculates and uploads 18 months rolling External Demand Plan in IBP

Validates the demand plan vs financial budget/latest estimates and highlights potential risks and opportunities in the demand plan vs financial budget/estimates

Calculates the monthly orders based on demand plan, stockholding, lead time, and pre-determined parameters based on KPI, and secures approval accordingly based on the company’s authorization guidelines

Calculates and submits 15 months rolling Unconstrainted Purchase Plan (UPP) to HQ
-
Drives and coordinates depletion plan with Sales and Marketing team to achieve inventory KPIs

Works with Order Management and Replenishment Planner to strategize stock allocation between consignment stores and outright accounts in lieu of supply constraint

Works with Order Management and Replenishment Planner on inventory reservation and allocation for Outright customers

Performs various demand and supply planning simulation and analysis

Works with Procurement and Master data on various master data related concerns such as local article creation, material extension, SRP maintenance, and the like
REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related fields

A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a demand planning and supply planning in a FMCG set up

Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedure

Strong mathematical and analytical skills

Capability to adapt to a demanding environment

Strong business acumen

Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills

Proficient in MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, SAP, and forecasting application
