Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director of Shiseido Travel Retail, the purpose of the role is to establish the best pricing strategies for Shiseido brands and ensure internal pricing processes are carried out efficiently and smoothly.


  • Perform analysis on global pricing strategies and individual market requests across Shiseido brands to maximise profitability and drive competitiveness in global markets.
  • Partner with brand and marketing teams to determine competitive pricing strategies for new products and prepare analysis to show the impact of these strategies.
  • Carry out periodic pricing reviews with key stakeholders, providing informative analysis to drive pricing decisions and ensuring pricing across Shiseido brands remains competitive.
  • Monitor industry trends and perform competitor analysis using industry databases, catalogues and other sources.
  • Responsible for the creation of new prices, maintaining accurate pricing databases and issuing pricing to commercial teams for implementation in market.
  • Maintain the SAP pricing tool, monitor and update global price lists to ensure complete accuracy of all consumer and retailer pricing.
  • Support the implementation of Shiseido global systems and process harmonisation.




  • Bachelor’s Degree, with 3-5 years of relevant pricing or sales analytics experience, within a multinational environment.
  • Highly analytical, with strong attention to detail, and adaptable to a fast paced and diverse environment.
  • Keen eye for identifying opportunity and can communicate effectively with key stakeholders at different levels and in different markets.
  • Hands-on with excellent Excel skills and ability to handle large data sets.
  • Working knowledge of financial systems e.g., SAP, BPC, BI, and SAP Cloud Analytics is an added advantage.
  • Ability to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong integrity and desire to work in a company with a high-integrity culture.
