MAIN PURPOSE
The Marketing Senior Executive/Assistant Manager is responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategies and activities to drive the success of the brands in the assigned portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Launches
- Strategize, plan and execute 360 marketing plans for new product launches to generate awareness, drive sell-out and gain market share.
- Drive brand awareness, increase consumer engagement through best-in-class execution of Marketing, PR and media activities.
- Management and optimization of A&P budget.
Retail Operations and Events
- Direct the preparation of operational matters including market research, advertising, promotion, distribution, pricing and selling
- Deliver the sales, profit, market share and brand health objectives for the year by creating strong advertising, promotional and CRM programs that generate business growth
- Liaise with agency and suppliers to create promotional materials, leaflet, brochure, etc.
- Provide promotional support and timely update of promotional initiatives to retail front to increase sales
PR and Communications
- Plan and develop campaigns to support new launches to ensure maximum media exposure.
- Handle media enquiries and maintain strong media relations with journalist, celebrities and social influencers.
Others
- Work closely with Sales & Ecommerce teams to drive integration and execution of trade marketing plans and trade activities with the different retailers including online pure players .
- Manage and support the visual merchandizing needs of stores. Ensure that all visuals and collaterals are executed in accordance with brands’ guidelines.
- Monitor key competitors’ activities to gather insights on market trends and developments
- Manage new product launches timeline & demand forecasting, working closely with internal stakeholders like Supply Chain, Business Controller and SAPAC team to ensure timely launches
- Prepare budget, monthly reports of key marketing and PR activities for business review
- Forecasting and stock management
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree/ Diploma in Business, Marketing and Mass Communication and related field
- Min 4 years of experience in brand management within FMCG / beauty or related retail sectors
- Strong analytical and organization skills with attention to details
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Adobe Photoshop and illustrator is an added advantage
- Stakeholder management skills
- Possess a positive attitude to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Well-groomed, confident and go-getter who thrives under pressure
- Comfortable in public speech & presentation
- Good team player with high level of integrity
- Candidates with lesser years of experience will be considered for the Senior Executive position
