Singapore - Marketing Executive, Cosmetics and Fragrance
MAIN PURPOSE
Reporting to the Brand Senior Manager, your primary role is to assist in all marketing activities and ensure brands’ objectives are met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To plan and execute 360 marketing plans for new product launches to generate awareness, drive sell-out and gain market share.
- To manage roll-out of events through liaising with vendors and manage event process from planning to execution within allocated budget and time
- Drive brand awareness, increase consumer engagement through best-in-class execution of Marketing, PR and media activities.
- To collate all relevant marketing information and materials to prepare post-event recap
- Partner ecommerce team to plan and execute ecommerce strategies
Retail Operations and Special Events
- Coordinate and execute trade marketing activities for all channels. Including and not exclusive to department stores, specialty stores, drugstores, ecommerce and perfumeries
- Liaise with agency and suppliers to create promotional materials, leaflet, brochure, etc.
- Provide promotional support and timely update of promotional initiatives to retail front to increase sales
Others
- Manage and support the visual merchandizing needs of counters. Ensure that all visuals and collaterals are executed in accordance with brands’ guidelines.
- Monitor key competitors’ activities to gather insights on market trends and developments
- Prepare monthly reports of key marketing and PR activities for business review
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Business/Marketing/Mass Communication or related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant marketing experience, ideally from the beauty/ fashion industry
- Keen interest in fragrance or cosmetics is a MUST
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Powerpoint) and familiarity with Photoshop and graphic design
- Well organized, strong sense of urgency and good time management skills
- Team player and committed to work in a fast-paced retail environment
