Regional Demand & Supply Planning Manager (1 year contract)

MAIN PURPOSE

The incumbent will support the overall business, financial & supply chain management process by rigorous management of the demand signals and order fulfilment for the business. You will lead the Regional Branded S&OP process by working with Brand Holders and Affiliates to ensure tight alignment in forecast and financial plans. You will also drive analysis and collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions and influence change

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and embed S&OP process in Asia Pacific to synchronise business processes.
  • Lead the Regional Branded S&OP process by working with functional teams to deliver a robust demand plan for the business.
  • Lead the Regional Branded forecast vs LE reconciliation process and ensure there is no significant variance and call out potential risks & opportunities.
  • Conduct forecast sufficiency & reasonability checks across affiliates and share trends insight and recommendation.
  • Lead KPI improvement plans (Sales Forecast Accuracy, Fill Rate and Inventory Days) via root cause analysis and forecast bias correction.
  • Lead the implementation of process & reporting standardisation across affiliates in the region.
  • Lead & implement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in the demand & supply planning processes.
  • Work closely with Global Supply to ensure optimal supply flow plan and optimal inventory level for key and critical SKUs.
  • Collaborate with Global Supply on the process flow and management for phase in/phase out and innovation SKUs.
  • Ensure best practices across affiliates for reporting analytics to correct forecast bias and improve consistency in attainment.
  • Conduct historical sales trend analysis at Regional level to establish key demand drivers and collaborate with Regional Brands and markets to ensure we deliver an unbiased forecast for the entire planning horizon.
  • Lead the capability building for multi-functional teams on S&OP, supply chain lead time and demand planning/forecasting processes leading to a step change on the quality of demand inputs coming into S&OP reviews.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree / Diploma in relevant discipline or at least 10 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Min 3 years of supervisory experience with Strong leadership qualities
  • Experience in leading S&OP process.
  • FMCG / Retail industry experience would be preferred.
  • Hands on experience in SAP would be advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and time management skills
