Regional Brand Director, Laura Mercier/bareMinerals


The role is a leadership role in Regional Prestige Division team, reporting to Vice President of Prestige Division.



  • Responsible for brand launch, set mid and long-term strategy in Shiseido Asia Pacific region
  • Drive and deliver innovation, renovation, category-led growth projects to the agreed milestones and timeline, in accordance to the high-quality standards set.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding – the business environment in which the brands compete including category segments and channels.
  • Build a holistic understanding of consumers and shoppers, together with the consumer insights team, in developing consumer and shopper insights and turn these in to growth opportunities.
  • Develop regional marketing plan and distribution plan to ensure consistency and efficiency in APAC region.
  • Lead and develop regional product innovation, communications and marketing activities for the growth of business unit.
  • Manage P&L and gives best marketing mix to increase profitability of each business unit.
  • Lead business discussions with global team and regional affiliates.


  • Minimum 10 years of experience in FMCG, specifically in the Prestige category
  • Experience in brand & product management of cosmetics in Asia Pacific
  • Ability to develop concepts, product innovation and brand communication
  • Business planning and implementation experience as well as project management; Strategic thinking
  • A considered, analytical approach to working with concepts, consumers, problem solving, stakeholder management
  • Strong regional/ global mindset
  • Entrepreneur leadership
  • Flexibility to travel when required
