Demand & Supply Planning Senior Executive

MAIN PURPOSE

 

Reporting to the Demand & Supply Planning Manager, the incumbent’s responsibilities are to mainly lead demand and supply planning for skincare, cosmetics or fragrance brands for Shiseido Asia Travel Retail business. The incumbent is also accountable for S&OP process to ensure delivering of both business and supply chain targets for specific brands. In addition to work closely with functional managers and executives from marketing and sales, finance and supply chain management as well as regional SCM teams.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Manage demand and supply planning for prestige skincare, makeup or fragrance brands
  • Develop detailed forecasts by SKU based on family/category level consensus forecast and replenishment plans to maximize sales and optimize inventory with excellent fulfilment to customers
  • Prepare monthly forecast (S&OP) meeting materials and provide analysis before presenting to multi-function teams to get demand consensus and follow up on the inventory management
  • Primary point of contact for internal stakeholders to request for supply chain related matters
  • Collaborate closely with logistics team and regional SCM teams for seamless operation and improve supply chain KPI
  • Identify root cause and develop recommended action plans to improve and deliver supply chain KPI
  • Support sales activities by analyzing sales material usage and submitting purchase order
  • Monthly conference call with regional SCM teams
  • Any other related tasks/projects

 

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • At least a Diploma/Degree in relevant discipline and 5 years of equivalent work experience in planning, managing over 500 SKU
  • FMCG / Retail industry / Travel retail experience would be preferred
  • Hands on experience in Future Master and/or SAP would be advantage
  • High degree of comfort with numbers and analyzing data
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft excel
  • Possess a natural affinity for root cause analysis and continuous improvement of processes
  • Have a sense of urgency
  • Able to work across multiple brands.
