MAIN PURPOSE
The incumbent will work closely with APAC business stakeholders & Local Market HR Directors and/or Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD) Leads to provide learning and career development strategic interventions and tactical support to the business, to drive learning excellence and implement capability building plans in alignment with the business strategies.
The incumbent will also work closely with Talent Acquisition Leads drive TA projects/initiatives such as employee value proposition & employer branding.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
ORGANISATION DEVELOPMENT
- Design and deliver change management strategies, processes and interventions that support the business strategies.
- Define learning curriculum & collaborate with learning partners to develop customized programs that address emerging capabilities to drive the business agenda.
- Identify learning needs and responsible for training design, delivery, coordination, performance management education and coaching.
- Support in building a comprehensive diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) strategy and build DE&I as a capability throughout leadership and in the organization.
- Drive and project managed global and/or regional L&D initiatives e.g., employee engagement survey and action planning, succession planning, leadership profiling, inclusion & diversity etc across APAC region.
- Communicate strategies effectively to internal stakeholders & employees in the region to ensure that they are well educated on the benefits of new strategies / changes, including drafting of communication materials or facilitating workshops.
- Implement best practices, leverage analytics and digital solutions to drive strategies for retention, culture change, and other relevant factors impacting employee engagement.
- Support talent management process through identifying key talent, succession, and development gaps in the region. Support the development of a strategic action plan for closing identified gaps.
Learning & Development
- Partner leaders and HRBPs to identify business needs, create comprehensive development plans to close skill, knowledge and behavioural gaps of employees so that they can be ready for the next level.
- Develop, curate and deploy learning interventions that are aligned to the core, leadership and functional competency frameworks.
- Keep up to date on Learning & Development trends, ideas and innovation; introduce and incorporate innovative and appropriate learning methodologies and technologies to facilitate learning and development, including gamification, Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Talent Acquisition:
- Support global & regional TA initiatives and policies roll-out; propose and work on necessary customization to support the uniqueness of local market needs.
- Responsible to enhance employee value proposition (EVP) and drive employer branding. Partner with internal stakeholders such as but not limited to global TA, Corporate Communications etc to support and drive best-in-class social media and branding initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- University Degree
- Minimum 8 years of talent acquisition experience in a large multi-national organization
- Prior experience in talent management & organization development
- Strong proficiency of Microsoft software applications especially Powerpoint & Excel
- Good interpersonal, oral/written communication and presentation skills
- An agile and relationship-orientated individual with experience in the direct development and implementation of talent methodologies that have been proven drivers of business performance
- Strong project & stakeholder management skills with a collaborative approach to navigate complexities and build relationship across multiple platforms
- Good understanding of team dynamism and ability to navigate professionally in matrix organization
- Passionate about candidate experience and exceeding client expectations at all times
- Ability to balance work priorities and focus with being hands-on when required
