Asia Pacific - Regional Talent & Organisation Development Manager
MAIN PURPOSE
The Regional Talent & Organisation Development Manager plays a critical role in building a future-ready workforce across APAC by strengthening leadership pipelines, accelerating talent development, and enhancing organizational capability. The role partners closely with business leaders and HR teams to translate business priorities into impactful talent, leadership, and engagement strategies that drive organizational effectiveness and sustainable growth. Through data-driven insights, capability-building initiatives, succession planning, and change management support, the role helps ensure the organization has the leadership strength, skills, and culture needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving business environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Talent Management
- Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to identify critical talent, succession needs, and workforce capability gaps, ensuring a strong and future-ready talent pipeline aligned with business priorities.
- Oversee market-specific talent reviews and succession planning processes across the region, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with regional talent priorities.
- Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to define targeted development strategies for identified talents and successors.
- Drive the awareness, adoption, and effectiveness of regional career pathway frameworks to support internal mobility, career growth, upskilling, and reskilling.
- Partner with market HR teams to track mobility trends, identify barriers to career progression, and recommend actions to support talent movement across the region.
- Manage talent assessment processes, interpret assessment outcomes, and facilitate debrief sessions with leaders and stakeholders to support talent identification, development, and succession planning
- Leverage data and insights to inform talent strategies, evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Organization Development and Managerial Capability Building
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess organizational capability gaps and identify future managerial skill requirements across the region.
- Design, develop, and implement structured managerial development programs, incorporating workshops, e-learning, coaching, and peer learning opportunities.
- Oversee the implementation of regional leadership programs for mid-level managers, ensuring consistency, quality, and relevance across markets.
- Curate, manage, and refresh relevant learning resources to ensure they remain accessible, practical, and aligned with managers’ development needs.
- Gather participant feedback and use qualitative and quantitative insights to continuously improve learning initiatives and program effectiveness.
- Maintain comprehensive records of learning activities, participation, outcomes, and impact for reporting and analysis.
- Monitor emerging trends, tools, technologies, and best practices in learning and development to enhance program delivery and learner experience.
- Manage relationships with external learning providers, assessment partners, facilitators, and consultants to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with regional development priorities.
- Explore and leverage emerging technologies, AI-enabled solutions, and digital learning platforms to improve learning accessibility, effectiveness, and employee experience.
- Promote a culture of leadership development, capability building, and continuous improvement across the region.
- Employee Engagement and Organizational Effectiveness
- Drive and support regional employee engagement initiatives that strengthen employee experience, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
- Develop content, scripts, and communication materials for regional townhalls and people initiatives, ensuring messages are clear, engaging, and aligned with regional priorities.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and relevant stakeholders to support employer branding initiatives that strengthen the employee value proposition, attraction, engagement, and enablement across the region.
- Partner closely with global teams to support the regional setup and implementation of employee engagement surveys.
- Analyze and report employee engagement survey results, identifying actionable insights to enhance employee experience, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
- Support change management efforts by providing relevant tools, frameworks, facilitation, and communication support to enable stakeholder alignment.
- Lead or contribute to transformation projects requiring cross-functional collaboration, agile execution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Facilitate cross-market sharing of talent and organization development best practices, promoting regional consistency while enabling local market relevance.
- Develop regional standards, toolkits, and governance frameworks to support effective execution of talent and organization development initiatives across markets.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Human Resources, Organization Development or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Talent Management, Learning and Development, or Organization Development, ideally in a regional capacity or with consulting experience.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating impactful talent, leadership, and organization development programs.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse culture and market.
- Experience in change management, leadership development, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, facilitation, and project management capabilities.
- Agile and relationship-oriented professional with a track record of implementing talent methodologies that support business performance.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach to navigating complexity and building relationships across multiple markets.
- Solid understanding of team dynamics and the ability to operate effectively within a matrix organization.
