The Shiseido APAC Corporate Strategy and Development organization supports the regional leadership team in shaping the future of the company. By assessing the trends that impact the business across consumers, categories, competition and technology, the team plays an active role in identifying opportunities, defining strategies and bringing forward new initiatives in order to create the most value.  We collaborate closely with the different functions across the region to drive alignment of goals and execution.


The Regional Corporate Strategy Manager will be responsible for analyzing and synthesizing complex information that impact the business and from this, put forward insight-based recommendations to the leadership team to achieve the organization goals. He/She will also has the opportunities to lead key initiatives to execute on our strategic priorities – from market opportunity sizing, business analytics and transformation initiatives as well as support critical business status reporting and the APAC region business planning process.




Strategy & Development

  • Partner closely with regional and country commercial and finance teams to identify business opportunities and solve problems through data and insights.
  • Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing business and proposed solutions and outlining business impact.
  • Analyse and synthesize market data and business performance, providing recommendations (of projects/process) as well as leading the design and operationalising special projects across sales, marketing, corporate planning and business transformation to improve future outcomes.
  • Support the delivery of overall SAPAC business target via
    1. Tracking and early flag out of potential business issues derived from analysis
    2. Supporting the deployment and tracking of regional strategies, key priorities, and initiative readiness tracking
    3. Understand & support the country level business planning and delivery


Business Analysis

  • Support the timely and accurate consolidation and preparation of
    1. The monthly rolling financial estimate for the Brands and Countries
    2. Data for management business reviews
    3. Tracking and reviews of Brands and Markets actual Net/Retail Sales performance vs estimate


  • Support preparation of the annual budget from Net/Retail Sales and full Profit & Loss Statement
  • Analysing commercial data such as budgets, sales results, and forecasts
  • Estimating costs and identifying business savings.
  • Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements




  • Proactive, data-driven, and strong desire to challenge the status quo
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 5 years’ experience working in marketing, business development or consulting
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex analysis to simple communications
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel skills with business modelling
  • Demonstrated project management and execution experience in cross-functional environments
  • Ability to connect the dots across insights, functions, and initiatives
  • Ability to influence senior leadership through data and insights
  • FMCG industry experience in an APAC context
