Asia Pacific - Regional Brand Manager, Shiseido
MAIN PURPOSE
The Regional Brand Manager, Shiseido is responsible for building long-term brand equity and delivering annual brand & business targets. She/he will play a key role in driving brand’s direction and supporting its growth strategy in Asia Pacific working closely with global brand holder, local country teams, and all key multi-functional stakeholders. Together with the Regional Brand Director, she/he will serve as the voice of the markets to ensure relevancy & sufficiency of marketing strategies & plans to support brand growth in the region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing leadership & strategy role:
- Define strategy, develop and align 360 marketing plans partnering with local market teams & global brand holder to ensure successful marketing activations and launches
- Lead business performance, consumer, and campaign analysis for the brand across the region, identify business opportunities, key learnings, & insights, and define clear action plans
- Optimize ROI for marketing initiatives through insights from digital and social media analytics
- Develop CRM strategy & plans that support overall brand objectives and to improve brand/campaign performance throughout Customer Decision Journey
- Drive and oversee regional CRM plans and execution
- Lead price setting and alignment process across the region to ensure compliance with global pricing guidelines and define pricing opportunities where possible
- Develop VMD & assortment plans and coordinate with global and regional in-store design teams to ensure alignment and best-in-class executions
- Provide guidance to local market teams to set and achieve clear marketing goals & KPIs
- Inspire local brand teams by encouraging global & regional best practices sharing
Marketing Operations and Execution:
- Align, evaluate and validate the launch and marketing plans of all markets
- Track sales performance, A&P investment, and ROI
- Lead marketing initiatives and launches forecasting process by defining regional forecast, consolidating bottoms-up forecast from all markets, analyzing, and benchmarking to maximize launch revenue and to ensure forecast accuracy
- Ensure all local brand communications comply with global brand image and guidelines
- Monitor the brand’s presence, performance and activities across in all key touchpoints
- Monitor key competitors’ activities and performances
- Prepare reports of business reviews and key marketing activities
- Serve as a marketing liaison between local markets and brand holder team
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing or Business studies
- Minimum of 8 years of consumer marketing and retail experience required
- Beauty industry knowledge and skincare category experience preferred
- Prior Asia-Pacific regional experience is an advantage
- Prior hands-on experience in planning and implementation of 360-degree marketing campaign and CRM strategy, plan and execution
- Strong business acumen, analytical, and communication skills
- Strong team player who is able to build good collaborative relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization
- Comfortable in a flexible, fluid and occasionally ambiguous operating environment
