MAIN PURPOSE

 

The Learning and Organization Development Executive supports the development and execution of L&OD programs and initiatives for Asia Pacific Region.

The incumbent will support the coordination and communication of L&D initiatives for various learning initiatives, review the post-learning feedback to provide continuous improvement to the learning experience. With the vision to elevate virtual / digital learning options, the incumbent will be involved in the research and exploration of new tools as an on-going effort to build the learning experience.

The incumbent will also work closely with the HR leads and corporate communication to create engaging content for Shiseido’s social media presence with employees, seeking out ways to connect and engage employees.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

RESEARCH AND PLANNING

  • Seek out latest trends and developments in L&D to keep training programmes fresh and effective, focusing on employee learning experience
  • Research the rapidly evolving trends in learning initiatives, leading to employee experience arising from the pandemic
  • Support the learning needs review based on competency frameworks and learning roadmaps

 

DESIGN AND DELIVERY

  • Support projects such as learning events and campaigns
  • Support the design and development of programs and curriculum, partner with internal subject matter experts and/or external vendors to achieve defined training, learning and development objectives eg. leadership development and functional skills training.
  • Being a creative lead in designing communication collaterals, eg. L&D calendar, catalogue, eDM.
  • Support the rollout of Employee Engagement survey and coordinate follow-up activities in the region

 

  • Partner workplace engagement and corporate communication to faciitate internal employee communications on various internal platforms (eg. emails or Shiseido WITH), or external social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
  • Support the development of the L&OD community in new digital tools, eg. video-making, presentation software, basic graphic design.
  • Organize the APAC bi-monthly L&OD meeting to facilitate best-practice sharing.

 

IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION

  • Follow up with local markets in the region on the implementation status of global/regional initiatives, eg. e-learning modules on Global HRIS (MIRAI), LinkedIn Learning, Performance Management workshop, etc. and consolidate status reports.  
  • Support the rollout of all regional training programs delivered by external partners, eg. Leadership development and Functional skills training. This includes scheduling, communications/marketing, invitations and sitting in as in-house support during the sessions.
  • Manage the end-to-end coordination tasks for both internal and external partners
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) administration, which includes the upload of programs and tracking of progress, reviewing the training data across the region to support on-going learning and development initiatives
  • Handle the digital collaboration for virtual sessions
  • Handle post-learning programme duties such as payments and application for government grant schemes
  • Collate and analyse post course evaluation data, training attendance, and recommend appropriate learning enhancement to learning & development initiatives across the region.

 

OTHERS

  • Exposed to other general HR operations where suitable to obtain a broader appreciation of human resource management in Shiseido.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Tertiary education from Polytechnic or University with experience in data analytics
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications, video-conference platforms such as Zoom, TEAMS and graphic design platforms
  • Proficient in creating impactful presentation decks  
  • Proficiency in authoring tools for e-learning will be an advantage
  • High-energy, creative, proactive, and resourceful
  • A keen learner, organised, possess good project management capabilities
  • People-oriented with effective communication skills
  • Hands-on, process oriented
