Senior Marketing Manager. Drunk Elephant - Function Leader (Korean only)

MAIN PURPOSE

To design, implement, and oversee all marketing strategies and programs for Drunk Elephant, ensuring alignment with global objectives while tailoring initiatives to meet local market trends. This role is pivotal in driving brand equity, awareness, and customer engagement through effective product selection, promotions, medial planning, and new product launches.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Analyze market specificities and craft a brand strategy tailored to local consumer needs.
  • Lead all marketing activities to enhance brand equity and awareness in alignment with global objectives.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies, integrating global and local brand guidelines.
  • Take ownership of marketing campaigns, ensuring synchronization with sales activities across distribution channels.
  • Oversee customer experience across all points of sales, driving collaboration between visual merchandising and training teams.
  • Forecast new and limited-life product demand across all channels.
  • Plan and execute media strategies with a strong emphasis on digital channels.
  • Adapt global digital marketing guidelines for local execution, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report the effectiveness of campaigns and product launches.
  • Drive customer engagement through CRM initiatives and customer-centric marketing programs.
  • Conduct marketing research, track campaigns/launches, and provide regular quantitative and qualitative updates to management.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between global/regional offices and the local market for all marketing topics.
  • Manage and oversee the brand’s marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective and impactful resource allocation.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing marketing team.
  • Foster a positive, results-driven environment to ensure the team thrives under pressure.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing/sales, with a preference for luxury or cosmetic industry leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills, with confidence and poise.
  • Outstanding organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • A go-getter attitude with the ability to excel under pressure.
  • Well-groomed, professional demeanor, embodying the brand’s image.
  • Experience in a similar capacity within the beauty, salon and fashion industry is an added advantage.
