Retailer Strategy & Relationship Manager (Korean only)
MAIN PURPOSE
This position supports the department store business by managing daily operations and executing channel initiatives across multiple Shiseido brands. The role is pivotal in managing strong partnerships with department stores, tracking performance through dashboards, and supporting strategic execution to enhance retail presence and brand experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute day-to-day operations across major department store accounts, ensuring alignment with brand and sales strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with department store buyers and store-level stakeholders to drive sell-through and enhance brand visibility.
- Assist senior management in space negotiation, promotion planning, and business review preparations.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, supply chain, VM) to ensure effective retail execution.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence and competitor activity within department store channels.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting related to department store business.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in retail operations, preferably within the cosmetics or fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of the department store ecosystem in Korea.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards)
- Familiarity with data tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with both internal stakeholders and external retail partners.
- Agile, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in Korean; working-level English preferred.
