Retail Strategy & Retailer Relationship Director (Korean only)
PURPOSE
Will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key department store retailers to drive sales growth and market share across multiple brands within our portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of the beauty industry, retail landscape, and the ability to negotiate and influence at a senior level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute strategies to strengthen partnerships with major department store retailers, ensuring optimal representation and performance of our brands across their locations.
- Lead negotiations for space allocation, promotional calendars, and brand presence within department stores, aligning with overall corporate objectives.
- Collaborate with brand teams to ensure consistent execution of brand strategies across department store channels.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and sales data to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure seamless execution of initiatives within the department store channel.
- Develop and present business reviews and strategic plans to both internal leadership and key retail partners.
REQUIREMENTS
- 15+ years of experience in beauty, with a strong track record in managing retailer relationships.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex agreements and influence decision-makers both internally and externally.
- Deep understanding of the department store landscape and beauty industry dynamics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and working in a matrix organization.
