MAIN PURPOSE

To support the Purchasing Manager in enhancing the company's purchasing operations, focusing on efficient shipping and inventory management, and providing distribution services.
This role aims to ensure product availability, maintain up-to-date inventory, and assist in indirect purchasing operations to meet the company's needs and customer demand.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the management of Master Data and Inbound Logistics Coordination, ensuring the integrity of data and smooth logistics operations.
  • Help in creating and maintaining accurate master data and batch code information for all required fields to ensure product traceability and compliance.
  • Address ad-hoc supply chain-related matters as needed, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate in the development of cost-effective purchase strategies, contributing to the maintenance of an excellent network of suppliers through strategic partnership management.
  • Support the Purchasing Manager in the bidding process, supplier negotiations, contract development, and procurement activities, aiming to secure the best value for the company.
  • Assist in monitoring supplier performance, ensuring delivery adherence, quality control, and effective handling of non-conformances, to maintain high standards of supply chain efficiency.
  • Contribute to making informed purchasing decisions by considering constraints such as regulations in different countries or regions, and industry trends.
  • An essential responsibility includes assisting in managing and maintaining product and domestic production material codes in the system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or related roles within the cosmetics or consumer goods industry on an international scale.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of international supply chain management and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite (with a strong emphasis on Excel) and mandatory experience with ERP systems, notably SAP.
