Product Specialist/Manager, Cosmetics & Fragrance (Korean only)
MAIN PURPOSE

Responsible for overall marketing for Fragrance: Narciso Rodrigeuz, ISSEY MIYAKE, TORY BURCH, as well as new brands, ensuring seamless execution from strategy to activation in Mass Channels (Olive Young, e-commerce, etc.)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1️. Marketing planning & execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive local strategic plans for new launches, regular campaigns, and special events tailored to mass channels (e.g., Olive Young, online channels)
- Play a pivotal role by creating a campaign pack including the key claim and a 360-degree plan for marketing, sales and retailers, ensuring Shiseido fragrance brands and other focus products maintain strong market positioning.
- Manage all aspects of local development and execution, including animation, digital advertising, print production, POS materials, GWPs, in alignment with global guidelines.
- Ensure brand consistency in product communication and promotional activities across online and offline channels.
- Optimize digital advertising by discovering and applying advertising insights through collaboration with media agencies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and E-commerce to align brand & product strategy with sales promotion in the field.
2️. Market & Consumer Insights
- Conduct sell- in & out data analysis and consumer insights to track performance and identify growth opportunities in the mass beauty market.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies to maintain Shiseido’s competitive edge in the mass beauty market.
- Work closely with global and regional teams to develop communication and advertising strategies aligned with the brand’s identity and positioning.
3️. Product Forecasting & Budget Management
- Ensure accurate product forecasting and optimal stock management to prevent overstock or shortage issues in retailer channels.
- Allocate POSM materials appropriately across channels based on the active communication with sales & Corp EC.
- Plan and manage brand budget & expense, ensuring effective allocation to maximize ROI and sales growth.
- Monitor and analyze key product performance metrics, including turnover, market share, and sales trends.
4️. Cross-functional Collaboration & Execution
- Actively communicate with the APAC brand team
- Collaborate with other functions & departments (Sales, SCM, RA, DC) and other agencies (media, package, GWP, etc.) to achieve the brand target.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in a related role.
- Experience in global beauty companies is a plus.
- Experience with Olive Young and beauty brands is preferred.
- Business-level English (both spoken and written).
- Highly organized and calendar-driven, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SAP knowledge is a plus.
