Integrated Communications Specialist, NARS (Korean only)
MAIN PURPOSE
Support the overall communications strategy by connecting operational execution with strategic initiatives. This role focuses on media relations, digital marketing, and influencer engagement to enhance brand visibility and align with global and regional communication objectives. Positioned at the intersection of operational execution (assistant-level) and strategic planning (manager-level), this role requires a combination of hands-on execution and insight-driven planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Media Planning & Coordination
- Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive media plans across print, online, TV, and social media platforms to achieve brand objectives.
- Collaborate with media and PR agencies to ensure seamless campaign execution aligned with overall brand strategy.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on media coverage, delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations to management.
Digital Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to enhance brand engagement and visibility.
- Plan and manage paid digital media campaigns, including social media ads, push notifications (e.g., Kakao), and search engine marketing (PPC, Naver Brand/Keyword Search).
- Conduct performance analysis using data-driven methods to optimize digital media efficiency.
- Oversee social listening and digital trend analysis to refine campaign strategy.
- Manage and curate content for brand social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Kakao Channel) to maintain engaging and relevant online presence.
- Plan and execute digital collaborations and activations, including local content production and asset development.
Event Planning & Execution
- Support the planning and execution of local PR events, product launches, and media gatherings with press, VIPs, and influencers.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, agencies, and partners to ensure events align with brand identity and standards.
- Manage event budgets, monitor expenditures, and analyze ROI to provide insights for future event improvements.
PR & Influencer Relations
- Manage and update media and influencer contact lists to strengthen key relationships.
- Respond to media requests and secure coverage through proactive engagement with editors and journalists.
- Create and distribute press materials, including press kits, brand messaging, and other media assets.
- Build and nurture relationships with influencers, bloggers, and digital ambassadors to drive brand awareness and advocacy.
Trend Monitoring & Competitive Analysis
- Monitor industry trends, emerging digital tools, and competitor activities to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to improve communication strategies.
- Prepare regular performance reports, including PPL (product placement) results and competitor benchmarking.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in PR, digital marketing, or media planning, preferably in the beauty or fashion industry.
- Deep understanding of digital communications, social media management, and influencer marketing.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and external partners.
- Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive and positive approach.
- Fluent in both Korean and English, ensuring seamless collaboration with global and local teams.
