Corporate E-commerce & Digital Strategy Director (Korean only)
POSITION PURPOSE
This role leads the full e-commerce and digital business strategy, with accountability across all online channels (Pure Players, D2C, Marketplace) and data-driven business analytics. The ideal candidate is both a commercial strategist and a data-savvy leader, capable of connecting digital commerce, sales data, and actionable insights to drive business performance in a fast-evolving beauty environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
🔹 E-Commerce Strategy & Channel Management
- Lead e-commerce strategy across Pure Players (Naver, Kurly, Kakao), D2C, and e-retailers.
- Optimize e-commerce calendar and campaign planning for online conversion and visibility.
- Manage key account relationships and negotiate business terms to secure brand exposure and profitability.
🔹 Digital Data & Business Intelligence
- Own and improve online & offline integrated sales dashboards (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Extract insights from consumer behavior, product performance, and campaign ROI.
- Support decision-making with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio 등) and partner with internal teams to elevate insight quality.
🔹 Operational Process & System Improvement
- Define and evolve SOPs for seamless e-commerce execution.
- Identify new tools or platforms to enhance sales monitoring, reporting automation, and campaign tracking.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Service (CS) and Supply Chain to resolve issues and optimize consumer experience.
🔹 Strategic Initiatives & Innovation
- Explore new channel opportunities, D2C model expansion, or digital partnerships.
- Drive innovation in digital merchandising, campaign formats, or consumer engagement strategies.
- Monitor industry best practices and apply them with agility to local market context.
🔹 Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Lead a team of e-commerce and data professionals.
- Collaborate with Marketing, CS, SCM, and Finance to align growth plans.
- Serve as a strategic counterpart to global/regional stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Minimum 10+ years in e-commerce, digital, or commercial strategy roles in FMCG/Beauty/Consumer Goods.
- Experience in managing Pure Player channels and negotiating platform-specific programs.
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret large datasets, visualize sales performance, and extract key insights.
- Familiar with Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio, Excel modeling, and performance metrics (ROAS, GMV, etc.)
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across matrix organizations.
- Fluent in Korean and English (regional/global stakeholder communication required).
