CMI Specialist (Korean only)

MAIN PURPOSE

To improve brand expertise level that is consistent with global and regional CMI strategies. Develops and manages customers through direct communication programs to contribute to generating profits.

This role also aims to leverage data-driven insights to address business questions and identify opportunities to optimize operational efficiency. The primary focus areas of analytics are through leveraging data from Market Intelligence.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1) Research

  • Delivery of market research and analysis, including cosmetic market, industry/market segment trend, etc., through assessing the macro-economic environment and evaluating market momentum trends and influences (on a quarterly basis)
  • Ensure smooth communication and data collection between related stakeholders, such as brand teams or brand sales
  • Take initiative in establishing and leading business intelligence frameworks
  • Investigate appropriate seminars & agencies
  • Support quality review to ensure the accuracy of current and historical incident data
  • Monitor market trend/dynamics and escalate key findings to global teams as a trend-leading country

 

 

2) Reporting

  • Daily collection and archiving through distribution news/growth trend search
  • Gather, synthesize, and interpret disparate quantitative information sources such as Nielsen, Kantar, Beaute research and social listening, to develop actionable insights and communicate clearly to key stakeholders
  • Data consolidation and reporting for Monthly, Quarterly, and Add-hoc Reports according to deadline
  • Ad-hoc Market Trend Analysis Report

 

 

3) Project

  • Support ad-hoc documents related to Business and Market
  • Prepare and Coordinate project-related meetings and training sessions with local and global team
  • Execute research project in brand/corporate level

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Strong Market research experience (minimum 5 years)
  • Experience and understanding of FMGC market, preferably in Beauty
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent report-writing and presentation skills
  • Proactive, energetic, and investigative mind. Also, highly organized with excellent communication and time management skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English
