Title:  Manager, Executive Sales & Education (Seattle) (bareMinerals)

Reporting to the Regional Sales and Education Executive, the Executive Sales and Education Manager is responsible for driving sales revenue to exceed quarterly and annual sales goals in assigned territory. This will be achieved by servicing customers and motivating and training store sales associates while cultivating strong account relationships. This includes leading by example through side-by-side selling with sales associates while bringing a high level of artistry skills. The Executive Sales and Education Manager must have the ability to drive sales in a multi-channel environment and supporting both brands Bare Minerals and Buxom.  The Executive Sales and Education Manager is responsible for managing T&E and Specialist Budgets.  The role will also have educational accountabilities and will deliver educational standards as well as presentations to regional and store audiences.

 

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Achieve personal daily sales goal and assigned monthly, quarterly and annual territory sales plan while putting the customer at the center of everything they do.
  • Motivate, train and influence sales through sharing selling skills, artistry tips and product knowledge with sales associates.
  • Recruit, Hire, Train, Motivate, Schedule and Evaluate Specialist team.
  • Plan and execute SGE and corporate events and daily in-store activity.
  • Evaluate in-store Visual and Merchandising execution follow guidelines.
  • Assess in-store stock levels and communicate low inventory levels to Regional Sales & Education Executive and merchant.
  • Partner with the Regional Sales & Education Executive to establish an action plan by door to drive retail sales.
  • Plan and manage time effectively when scheduling store visits to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in driving revenue.
  • Adapt style and approach to meet the needs of each store, employee/ prestige consultant, client and represent bareMinerals or buxom to fit its style.
  • Works in coordination with Department Store management to help recruit, train and develop department store employees.
  • Facilitate educational seminars in coordination with your Regional Sales & Education Executive that include but are not limited; New Store openings, Macy Impulse Artistry School, Sephora Brand Focus Days and Ulta Clusters.
  • Participate in Regional meeting and monthly conference calls to provide partnership and create solutions to address the business needs.
  • Accountable for strengthening brand identity and awareness by creating visual merchandising consistency within each store and ensuring visual, inventory and operational standards are met.
  • Make deadlines for all requests including but limited to: calendars, expense reports and event recaps. Represent the bare Minerals brands in a positive and professional manner through personal example and influence of teams, putting the customer at the center of everything we do.
  • Manage Travel and Expense as well as Annual Specialist Budget
  • Uphold Bare Minerals Dress Code Guidelines & consistently demonstrate a polished and professional appearance, frequently changing makeup styles to reflect current trends by wearing seasonal looks.
  • Execute Educational initiative at the store level
  • Educate Store employees to better understand the brand and its products to better their ability to turn knowledge into sales.
  • Work cross functionally with the Education support team to execute at the highest level. Delivering customer service expectations at all times
  • Execute Educational classes to store employees at all of the accounts you manage.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of all products as well as ingredients.
  • Educate store management and their employees on all educational priorities for all launches

    Qualifications & Competencies
     
     
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a cosmetic coordinator or business / counter manager. (or equivalent position)
  • Excellent direct-selling, artistry skills and customer service skills.
  • A proven track record of achieving personal and territory sales goals.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, presentation and communication skills
  • Experience planning and executing successful cosmetic events.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and handle change in a positive manner.
  • Schedules a minimum of 3 Saturdays per month. Must be flexible to change to reflect the needs of the business including weekends, evenings and holidays. One office day per week.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs
  • Able to stand for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Possess a personal vehicle to be utilized for business purposes
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays
