DIGITAL MANAGER SHISEIDO BENELUX (W/M)

 

 

Shiseido Benelux is looking for a Digital Manager. He/She will be responsible for managing and driving growth on digital sales and visibility in the Benelux market. He/She will be based in the Netherlands, reporting to the General Manager and will work closely with Marketing directors, Commercial teams and Brand managers (Prestige, Fragrances and US brands). He/She will manage a junior digital manager and an intern.

 

 

The scope of brands is Prestige (Shiseido, Clé de Peau Beauté, Serge Lutens), Fragrances (Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez, Zadig & Voltaire) & US brands (NARS, Drunk Elephant) for the Benelux local market.

 

Main responsibilities are (depending on brand activations scope):

 

As the Digital Lead for the Shiseido Group Benelux, you will oversee a team focused on e-retail, e-commerce and digital transformation across Belgium and the Netherlands.

 

E-retail

  • Execute a comprehensive e-retail strategy (including retail media) to raise brand awareness, sales and engagement across our retailers web shops
  • Develop business e-trade plan in coordination with the marketing and commercial teams and execute the plan (depending on the retailer/brand)
  • Work closely with the marketing and commercial teams to identify new opportunities to drive sales, visibility and efficiencies for the growth of e-retail.
  • Build the company’s brands across the leading e-retail websites
  • Challenge retailers to optimise the shopping and experience with tools provided by RHQ such as visuals, video’s and fragrance/skincare finders
  • Meet with retailers dedicated e-commerce managers, maintain relationships and negotiate and secure new business
  • Analyse consumers insights and brand reputation from data (platforms) shared by the retailer
  • Decide on sales target per quarter with the commercial director and set budget with the marketing director
  • Monitor and analyse monthly revenue, campaign success, sales targets and budget
  • Remain up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in the e-retail industry
  • Provide social media assets to all online and B&M retailers on new launches & KCP

 

E-commerce / DTC

  • Plan and validate the eCommerce Marketing activities with RHQ (ie: e-merchandising, sales, gifts, samples, emails, …)
  • Plan the CRM strategies with the RHQ CRM teams which consist of the monthly marketing emails, triggers and the customer acquisition campaigns. 
  • Collaborate with the RHQ digital media teams on the yearly media strategy by planning and implementing paid and SEA campaigns to boost sales, increase traffic and raise brand awareness
  • Participate in the translation review (e.g. (new) product descriptions, CRM email campaigns, media, e-merch…)
  • Monitor and analyse monthly revenue, campaign success, sales targets and budget
  • Analyse data in SFCC and Google Analytics to assess results and performance
  • Analyse ROI and effectiveness of media and CRM campaigns in GA and Tableau
  • Integrate local operations with DTC activations (e.g. PR, events, marketing operations, etc.)
  • Execute the local social media strategy on the local Facebook page for the Shiseido brand

 

 

Required skills & experience

  • 5 or more years relevant business experience in a digital marketing environment with e-commerce experience
  • Customer-obsessed
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in an environment with shifting priorities and time-sensitive deadlines
  • Strong sense of organization and attention to detail are required
  • Strong analytical and logical skills
  • Strong verbal and written skills are required (marketing/beauty jargon)
  • The ability to independently lead the Benelux Digital strategy in alignment with the headquarters vision.
  • Bi-weekly Travel to Belgium (Brussels office) and occasional travel to our RHQ in Paris
  • Dutch and English speaking is a must. French speaking is a nice to have.
  • Bachelor or Master degree in (Digital) Marketing, (Digital) Communications or related field.
