Senior Technical Analyst, SAP Master Data Governance

Job Summary: 

The Senior Technical Analyst, SAP Master Data Governance will be Level 1 support for troubleshooting technical and functional issues related to master data using SAP MDG and S4HANA. They will facilitate the implementation and support of SAP PTP/MM modules to enhance the clients’ business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Must have hands on experience in multi-level workflow setup
• Fluent with various master data such as Business Partner, Material Master, MDG Financial objects etc
• Highly knowledgeable in handling various integration methods like IDocs, proxy etc
• Sufficient knowledge in ABAP to understand and debug SAP programs
• Assist with any mass uploads or changes to Master Data using tools like LSMW, MASS etc
• Design, configure and test solutions in SAP MDG and S4HANA
• Knowledge in SAP PTP/MM functionality and configuration
• Support Business for issues related to SAP MDG and S4HANA PTP
• Prepare test scripts and support both UAT & Regression testing with the business teams and technical team
• Act as a liaison between the business functions and both the regional and global technical teams
• Analyze the current business processes and scenarios of the client and recommend/develop solutions to meet the client’s needs
• Analyze and resolve critical issues
• Develop and evaluate plans and criteria to be carried out by others; provides direction, leadership, and training
• Provide detailed knowledge of industry best practices
• Monitor and assist in resolving errors through daily reporting
• Prepare root cause analysis for all issues and functional specification for all developments
• Create Change Request to support the business as needed
• Lead and advise business partners on MDG initiatives

Qualifications & Competencies:

• 3+ years’ experience in SAP S4 MDG, MM modules
• 3+ years’ IT and ERP experience
• 3+ years’ experience with data management
• SQL, and ETL skills
• SAP MM Functional and Configuration skills
• Business and Solution Oriented, Global mindset
• Good planning and analytical skills
• Good communication and organizational skills
