Intern - Supply Chain Management

POSITION SUMMARY

Overall, the Intern will have the opportunity to learn from on-job training and assist the Supply Chain Management department in the provided key responsibilities.

At the end of internship, the Intern should have an overview understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Management. Depending to the Intern’s learning ability and completion of tasks, the Intern would have in-depth exposure in either one or more of the Supply Chain Management processes/functions: master data management, order management, inventory planning, inventory management or warehouse and logistics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Report and analysis related to Supply Chain Management
• Prepare tracker and follow up to close actions with assigned stakeholders
• Document and filing which include design efficiency or simplification for these activities
• Undertake and carry out any other duties and responsibilities reasonably assigned by the supervisor from time to time

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

• Candidate who is currently an undergraduate or have graduated in the following fields: Supply Chain, Management, Logistics, Transportation, International Shipping or Transport and Engineering.
• Committed to do full-time internship in Mutiara Damansara (Petaling Jaya) for 3 months or more.
• Candidate must be passionate to learn new things, hands-on in problem solving, enjoys working in teams and collaborate with people, and takes initiative.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint. Understand how to use formula to automate workbooks is an added advantage.
• Fluent command in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
