RESPONSABILITES

 

  1. Business Finance Partner - performance evaluation and decision support for Commercial and/or Category leaders

 

Provide financial perspective to the Commercial team to deliver business results and recommend ways to improve performance and effectiveness.

 

  • Provide analysis on sales and profitability by line, subline, by country and by channel
  • Implement  appropriate dashboards and KPI to give visibility on the brand performance
  • Identify risks and opportunities and propose corrective measure
  • Support the department in producing business cases, ROI for marketing investments and make recommendations for better allocation and efficiency
  • Participate to the monthly / quarterly forecasting process and gross margin evaluation
  • Be accountable to  run financials for upcoming new launches and lead the GM overview discussion with Brand Lead teams

 

  • Ensure to provide all financials required by the fashion house and  that the contractual obligations are met
  • Management of 1 direct report

 

 

 

  1. Budget/forecasting/Reporting

 

  • Define with business teams the annual budget and periodic forecasts - challenge assumptions, variances, and influence efficiencies in line with Group finance guidelines
  • Support with the consolidation group for  Budgeting & Forecasting, monthly closing (analysis and commentary) and also monthly/ quarterly forecast process
  • Support the brand development/central cost controller in building budget and actual analysis
  • Own and drive finance reporting dashboards across business teams

 

 

PROFILE

 

  • Previous experience operating in Finance Business Partnering role in FMCG or Beauty sector
  • Ability to challenge effectively on budgets and forecasts
  • Ability to communicate financial information and analysis to a very senior audience
  • Experience of driving the business decision-making process
  • Demonstrable ability to identify and analyse key business drivers
  • Strong influencing, networking and relationship building skills to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders both within Finance and across the business
  • Strong numeracy and experience with the Microsoft office suite
  • Strong system skills (SAP)
  • Strong drive to improve status quo , self-starter and proactive
  • Progressive proven working experience between 5-8 years with people responsibility
