MAIN MISSIONS :

 

 

Ensure the Generation & calibration of  the statistical forecast in IBP for specific Markets with the support of an apprentice :             

 ( Switzerland, Benelux) :

  • Compare and select the best statistical model, algorithms & trends parameters
  • Adjust calculation rules according to product life cycle models
  • Correct historical sales and analyze forecast error to smooth future statistical forecast
  • Activate corrective action plan to improve Forecast Accuracy
  • Enrich demand plan with specific local information (market intelligence) (specific events, distribution change, cannibalization) based on marketing strategies
  • Prepare and lead monthly local demand consensus with local commercial and marketing team.

 

 

Animate the forecast community  (Emea markets with Local Forecasters) :

  • Onboard newcomers : processes presentation, key meeting attendance, training on the forecasts tools
  • Set the common objectives & KPI associated
  • Follow up of the monthly KPI and rootcauses analysis
  • Prepare/lead monthly call with local forecasters (Emea + TRE) : share of forecasts priorities, new process, best practice of each…
  • Organize & animate an annual Forecaster seminar
  • Participate to workshops with other Regional forecasting POC to share good practices, challenges & improvements

 

Manage the governance of the forecast tools :

  • Create and maintain User guide
  • Organise regular training sessions
  • Ensure maintenance and communication of Operations calendar
  • Create/Follow tools incident tracker & raise appropriate escalations
  • Tools enhancements : collect the needs, convince other regions, stand up for them with Global as well as UAT to perform and sign off

 

 

As Forecast process expert, ensure a strong knowledge of our forecasting processes existing and new one :

  • Audit regularly & challenge/support our  markets forecast process regarding monthly routines (activities, dashboards, tools use, local demand consensus…)
  • Ensure clear understanding from our process partners regarding required steps to allow forecast consistency (prices, customers creation…)
  • Ensure a harmonious way of analysis & present forecasts topics
  • Ensure process improvements : identification, roadmap definition & implementation (ie newness forecasts management, threshold authorized gap forecasts vs budget, new brand management, support demand consensus deployment…)
  • Participate actively in S&OP meetings : local demand consensus and Regional demand review (RDMR)
  • Work closely with S&OP lead and Regional demand planners  to ensure harmonized processes among the brands.
