Job Summary:

 

The Shiseido organization is going through a business transformation journey of FOCUS (First One Connected & Unified Shiseido) to simplify and standardize business processes and data in One Global Solution. FOCUS entails various implementations for the Americas which include SAP and Blue Yonder systems in Canada, SAP and Apriso systems in SAI, global BPC, PaPM, Group Reporting, ACML and other focus projects over the next few years. This position supports the Americas Finance organization in all the FOCUS implementations as well as maintains the harmonization with regional input to HQ with the ongoing FOCUS design and system enhancements. In addition, the region continuously strives for business process effectiveness and efficiency requiring project management efforts which this position will support from a process and systems perspective.

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the implementation and delivery of project in scope, new finance system(s) and streamlining the processes post implementation
  • Assist with the design and creation of master data, documentation and testing of processes, data reconciliation, and training of end users for new implementations, if necessary
  • Mapping of business functions and processes and providing support and training on these where necessary
  • Help oversee resources (including external consultants), tasks and deliverables across various projects
  • Ability to analyze data (often pulling data from existing source systems), draw appropriate conclusions and develop action plans based on the data analysis completed
  • Liaise between Finance organization and IT for finance application changes, maintenance and issues (including SAP and BPC)
  • Assist in synthesizing data from HQ from RBPL (Regional Business Process Lead) meetings to work with Finance organization to validate and provide feedback
  • Create compelling project content (slides, training manuals, process workflows, etc.)
  • Identify and document key takeaways from meetings
  • Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness
  • Provide feedback and project updates
  • Exhibit good influencing skills to effectively help drive project efforts
  • Ability to operate within a dynamic project environment with many workstream/ task interdependencies
  • Demonstrates a detail oriented, organized and analytical approach
  • Engage stakeholders across various functions, regions and seniority

 

Qualifications & Competencies:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or business-related field is required
  • High-level analytical and process skills
  • Minimum of 4-6 years working experience
  • Experience in the beauty industry or shared services background is a big plus
  • Sound understanding of relevant accounting knowledge, process controls, financial processes, etc.
  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate across all levels
  • Good presentation skills
  • Experience in working with various stakeholders
  • Experience in developing and maintaining productive relationships
