Job Summary:

This role is crucial in driving profitable growth for Clé de Peau Beauté by inspiring discovery, engagement, conversion, and loyalty among new, existing, prospective and lapsed consumers across shopping channels.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Optimize Clé de Peau Beauté’s greatest opportunities for consumer growth across all digital touchpoints
    • Leverage Shiseido Americas Corporation’s tools to scale efficient consumer acquisition, loyalty and winback across media, brand site, e-mail, social, PR and CRM initiatives
  • In partnership with internal stakeholders (Ecomm, Brand Marketing, Channel Marketing, PR, Education, Media and in-house creative team) author clear and compelling creative briefs to ensure best-in-class content is created for digital channels---including paid media,, CRM/e-mail, brand site, social and other consumer touchpoints, including influencer campaigns
  • Define the consumer journey and create brand messaging and content strategy across all touch points in partnership with communications, creative, brand marketing and cross functional teams
  • Traffic creative assets to media, social and CRM partners to meet respective deadlines
  • Support full-funnel paid media lifecycle including briefs, campaign creative requirements, campaign creative optimizations, wrap reporting, media authorization forms, invoicing and billings
    • Code brand invoices on a monthly basis; ensure budget aligns to Finance’s Continuous Estimate Planning and media agency’s flow chart
  • Support the development of clear and actionable campaign plans and optimizations by leveraging existing SAC resources (including CRM data), SAC performance dashboards, NPD data as well as commissioned consumer insights research
    • Analyze media and CRM reporting to recommend and inform media optimizations and creative development
    • Share creative learnings with internal and external creative partners
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating brand integrated marketing calendar and cross-functional marketing processes to optimize internal alignment, efficiencies, and partnership
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to develop ratings and reviews programs, sweepstakes and sampling programs
  • Gather insights and competitive intelligence
  • Support the development of ad hoc presentation decks



Qualifications & Competencies: 

  • 5+ years digital marketing experience in-house at a brand or at a digital creative agency
  • Beauty/Fashion industry experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience driving 360 marketing planning and integrated marketing programming with proven results, leading with digital and social media
  • Capable of synthesizing data to drive business decisions
  • Strong communication skills to persuade others, articulate a point of view, and set direction
  • Leader that champions positive internal culture aligned with brand vision
  • Understanding of digital marketing platforms and best practices
  • Understanding of the intersection of media and creative effectiveness
  • Proficiency in all office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or Keynote)
  • Collaborative work style and presence across audiences (disciplines and seniority levels), including strong organizational and customer management skills
  • Smart, creative, forward-looking thinker with a sense of humor and excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Extreme attention to detail, organizational skills, and process
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to work with limited direction and some autonomy
  • Extremely solution-oriented, proactive problem-solver
