Intern, US Ecommerce (NARS & Drunk Elephant)
What You Will Do:
In an environment where NARS & Drunk Elephant eCommerce is growing and ever-evolving, the eCommerce intern will learn firsthand how a digital DTC business operates across multiple functions – gaining exposure to everything from merchandising and marketing to operations, planning, and creative briefing.
The candidate will focus on supporting daily marketing and operations on Narscosmetics.com & Drunkelephant.com to help achieve aggressive sales targets, while ensuring continuity and stability of the brand’s digital flagship.
- Explore and benchmark our digital landscape on an ongoing basis, reporting findings to broader teams
- Perform quality assurance for site daily, logging bugs and escalating issues accordingly
- Partner with Associate Manager, eCommerce to brief, configure, and QA promotions, GWPs, and on-site content initiatives
- Identify opportunities and work cross-functionally to report findings and propose ideas/solutions
- Conduct weekly inventory checks, keeping a close eye on upcoming launches and promotions
Who You Are:
The ideal candidate for this position should have strong organizational and communication skills, an understanding of the Beauty and eCommerce industry and a sense of curiosity, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree
- An interest in all things digital with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Proficient Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word skills
- Able to work collaboratively on a team, as well as cross-functionally
- Prior Beauty and/or eCommerce internship experience preferable
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, analytical, and highly organized
- Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented
- Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment
- Have a passion for cosmetics, beauty industry and consistently keeping up-to-date with trends
