Job Summary

Support US PR team in raising overall brand awareness for Drunk Elephant in the US, including media outreach, event planning and execution, product launches, partnerships and activations that are aligned with the overall business objectives.


Essential Job Duties


Editor Outreach:

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with US editors, with a specific focus on digital and regional press to support key retail doors. Support the US PR team in meeting monthly press targets and yearly KPIs.
  • Assist US PR team with development of creative deliveries, new launch angles, toolkits, press materials, pitch letters, eblasts and press mailings.
  • Ideate creative solutions to increase media coverage outside standard pitching tools.
  • Maintain database of US beauty awards and oversee beauty award submissions.
  • Keep US press list up to date daily with the support of the US PR Coordinator and/or PR Intern.
  • Maintain database of Q&As and interviews for brand archives/ team reference.
  • Ensure all US press assets (press releases, images) are up to date in the Global PR shared server.


Key Stakeholder Group Outreach:

  • Identify key stakeholders to increase press coverage and therefore brand. awareness such as dermatologists, makeup artists, estheticians, facialists, celebrities and VIPs.
  • Work with Executive Director to develop outreach strategy and set KPIs for working with these groups; align closely with International PR, Social and Influential Marketing teams on efforts.


  • Assist US PR team in on-brand execution of US events, including drafting agendas and run-of-show documents, booking venues, handling RSVPS, coordinating travel arrangements and car service for talent and special guests, assembling, and distributing gift bags, etc.
  • Support in production of global press trips, including drafting itineraries, booking travel, and coordinating car service for internal executives, external talent, and guests. 


  • Pull monthly Launchmetrics reports for the US.
  • Help establish and track KPIs for new product launches.
  • Find ways to maximize use of Launchmetrics Insights data tool. 

Forecasting and Budget:

  • Responsible for tracking budgets (shipping, assembly, cost of goods) in partnership with shipping & logistics teams.
  • Enter US PR invoices into Shiseido payment system.

Administrative Support:

  • Submit and track creative requests.
  • Assist in creating engaging multi-media presentations for global brand meetings, conferences and executives.
  • Help increase departmental efficiencies by implementing new processes (tracking system, forecasts, etc.)


  • 5-8 years of experience in PR, media relationships a plus
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communications skills
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to oversee detailed timelines and handle multiple projects at once
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
