JOB SUMMARY

The Analyst is responsible for building and maintaining Sales forecasting templates across all Shiseido US brands. The Analyst will support Sr. Manager of Sales Development with Shiseido US fragrance brands. Preparing weekly and monthly reports to analyze business trends and identify opportunities to drive retail & net sales to achieve plans.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • You will create forecasting tools that help analyze key business trends across all Shiseido US brands
  • You will consolidate across brands for overall Shiseido US roll up for Leadership monthly, quarterly and annual views
  • You will be using COGNOS, pull weekly shipments, sales deductions, and markdowns data to build daily and weekly recap, analyzing results by brand.
  • You will support Sr Manager in Fragrance revenue discussions when needed
  • You will compile business review information for corporate meetings     

 

Additional Responsibilities

  • You will manage Fragrance retail mix of business quarterly output
  • You will collaborate with the Reporting Team to maintain up-to-date reporting on shipments, retail and sales deductions.
  • You will contribute to add/delete process by reporting visibility on inventory at trade
  • You will manage BOM/Inventory reporting by brand and account
  • You will manage Shiseido US month end shipping updates with customer service team
  • You will support ad hoc sales and inventory performance dashboards

 

WHO YOU ARE 

 

  • You have 1-2 years of retail planning experience (a plus)
  • You are extremely proficient in MS Excel
  • You have knowledge and experience with Word and PowerPoint
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • You have strong analytical and storytelling abilities
  • You can work under pressure with fluctuating deadlines and a high number of tasks
  • You have knowledge and experience with the retail or CPG industry
  • You have attention to detail, high sense of responsibility, dependable and self-starter
  • You can build and maintain relationships within Shiseido
  • You can work a hybrid schedule (3 days per week in the NY office)

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as components of a total compensation package, including participation in our bonus program which features the ability to overachieve, in addition to a full range of competitive benefits.
